E3 2012 prediction/waitin g thread.

Well it's that time of year again (June 5-7). With E3 2012 less than a month away, it's time to get speculating.

Confirmed heavy hitters for this year:

Wii U final unveiling.

Resident Evil 6.

20 new gaming experiences from Sony.

...and not much else.

Go ahead, take some guesses!

I'm actually excited enough for games that already revealed, but not confirmed for E3. Paper Mario, Luigi's Mansion 2, Virtue's last Reward, Battleblock theater, Lego Lord of the Rings, and the new Fire Emblem all look awesome.

I feel like Valve with come out with the next Half Life this E3. I don't really care because i'm not a Half Life fan, to be honest, but I just feel like it'll be announced soon.

It has almost been a year already? How time flies. Last year was the first E3 that I actually watched and it was pretty cool so I'll be doing so again this year.

As for what I'd like to see, I'm not sure really. More info on GTA V would be cool. Since I've recently gotten a chance to finally play Skyrim again, some info on the DLC would be nice. Other than that though, I can't think of too much that I'd like to hear more about.

Nothing it going to change, Microsoft is going to cater to the soccer moms, Sony is going to introduce bundle packs with other products they own, and Nintendo is going to do whatever the hell they want.

The major publishers will have their products be 9/10 established franchises and 1/10 new IP's. Their will be a new Sonic game, I will be excited. No details on the new games will be leaked, and the press will be paid up as always.

FF6 I agree with you, but FF7 on the other hand, has been milked for all it's worth a long time ago, and simply needs to fade to black already. It's been 15 years since it first came out, and they have only continued to milk it with various spinoffs and even an anime series to go with it, let it die like Aerith, please. {They probably won't unfortunately.}

Other than that, about the only thing that I'm looking forward to at E3 is the new footage for GTA V, {hopefully} and maybe get a peek at the Wii U and the PS4, though the mileage will vary on the launch titles when they come out.

I'm hoping (but doubtful) that Time Splitters 4 will finally get some new inforamtion, it's a video game series too good to just die.

I'm looking forward to the unexpected stuff, rather than stuff I think will be announced.

I think they've said before that they're not doing another Half Life 2 episode, they're going onto 3.

Like last year, I'm only focusing on nintendos conference. Sony's conference was BORING last year( the only good thing was sly 4) and microsoft's just sucked ( KINECT ALL DAY ERRYDAY).

Ubisoft's was enjoyable, I kinda hope they bring back Mr.Caffine(he was alright, but I started to find him annoying near the end). I'm just HOPING sony makes stuff less boring.

I want to hear more about Metal Gear Solid 5, and since it will be the 25th anniversary Kojima said there will be something very important in the works so perhaps we will see something regarding MGS5.

I believe they are releasing a collection of Kirby games for Wii like they did for Mario back in 2010.

-Sony will push some new ridiculous feature that will fail miserably (See: Home/Move), Kevin Butler will do something awesome.
-Microsoft will push more dumb Kinect kiddie shit, and I guess CoD will present on their stage again. They might dedicate some of their stage time to the new arcade/indie game format on XBL.
-Halo 4 will...well, I'm not sure what to expect from this, but I have a good feeling.
-Forza Horizon will be the greatest game in the history of ever. Open world Forza? That's a hybrid game made in dreams.
-Not sure where Nintendo will go with the Wii U, but I get the feeling it'll be unremarkable.
-Valve - I have no idea if they even plan on making appearance, but I've heard rumors that they're waiting until after E3 for a "major announcement".
-Ubisoft will probably wave their dicks around over Assassin's Creed 3, and rightfully so; it looks incredible.
-Maybe Brian Fargo and company will be able to show us something from Wasteland 2?
-More shit about Elder Scrolls online?
-Maybe some grumbling over a new Fallout game. Maybe.

I'm excited for Nintendo's press conference. Xbox's press conference last year was pretty boring but I think Sony did a decent job with their conference. As for Nintendo, they had the best last year and this year, I am interested in seeing the final version of Wii U and how blockbuster games will play on it. I'm predicting a new Zelda will be announced so that it can launch with Wii U like Nintendo had previously done with the Wii.

Lucasarts has a booth this year. I'm really hoping they announce Battlefront 3, but the chances of that are slim to none.

With Nintendo, I'm not that interested about the Wii-U itself, but what titles it would have. I'm not planning to buy another Nintendo console unless it has a good library of games. The only games I played on the wii were Smash bros- twilight princess and Super Mario Galaxy.

I also hope that Unreal would give us that clip they showed to the press that shows what Unreal 4 is capable of. Those screenshots aren't probably doing it justice.
