Robot Day 2011 Game Contest

This is the official thread for Robot Day 2011 game discussion and submission! Talk about your works in progress, and when you're done you can post a link in this thread! Also be sure to tag your submission with "robotday2011" so we can find it in future tag searches.

The theme is anything involved robots. To be eligible for prize money and an award, you must feature original characters and audio must come from the Audio Portal or be used with permission and credit to the original artist.

Your game must be submitted on JULY 10th and your loading screen should include a shiny link to the Robot Day 2011 Page.

Prizes:
1st - $250
2nd - $50
3rd - $30

Working on a game right now!

Puzzle game, kind of like Red Remover, where you click away ground to lead a robot to a portal which leads it back to Earth. You can also use other robots as ground and rotate their centers of gravity, and rotate some pieces of ground, and you can only stand on some pieces of ground so many times, and you can only rotate some pieces of ground so many times, and you can only rotate some robots so many times, and-

I didn't think of that way to discover the amount of people participating in this event ^^, good thing I have my time-machine in the garage to go back to this day so I can tell myself on beforehand whether there are any serious attempts at a game for robotday, if not I would jam a game together in 10 days and hope for the win.

'The' original character: I have no idea what you are talking about
'a' original character to use for your own game: get them from your mind when you are inspired.

You've said it yourself: 'I wouldn't know', so please don't talk about things you know nothing about. I've read allot of books on this subject and I know stuff and I didn't learn by asking retarded questions to other people, I've found them out by myself through a google search or trial and error. It's the own things you make that helps you learn, its not fun if somebody else tells you how to do it.

Oh, I understand now, I thought it meant that there were original robot day characters that had to be used in your game, but now I see that he means original as in your own.
