Five. Although it takes up a slot of its own and the energy costs to keep it up are pretty high, so really just a couple land slots.

Its really easier to just dismantle buildings you don't quite need when facing this issue early on.

Joined about 20 minutes ago so I'm still getting to grips with that the hell I'm supposed to be doing.

I have level 3 Metal Mine and just built a Solar Plant, not entirely sure what to do now other than keep upgrading.

I'm sure I'll figure it out, but it seems like I'd be better off if I'd joined back when this thread first popped up, oh well, shouldn't be too hard.

Oh and I forgot to mention, I applied for the NGS, and my Planet thing is [1:176:8].

The only people I get probed by are by to 150 ranked players because they're looking for weaker opponents. Kind of sucks because I'm in that rank range that has enough resources to make it worth it to those people yet I don't have nearly enough weapons to survive an attack. To emphasize that last point, the last guy who attacked me sent out 500 battleships like it was no big deal.

Personally, since my fleet was destroyed a few days ago, my focus has been on rebuilding that. Actually thought it would take a week to do so and I'm already basically at the level I was at when I was attacked. I figure though that once my fleet is big enough (which it will be very soon) I'll be attacking other live players for a chance at bigger resources which will lead to upgrading mines etc etc.

In other news, I think it might be more beneficial for me to upgrade mines and solar plants above the standard rather than lug them around. Eventually I'm going to get caught and it isn't going to be pretty. I really don't want to lug around almost 100 large cargo ships either, it's a n expensive operation.

I do the exact opposite, I schedule my fleets around stuff IRL, like I'll send a fleet out in the morning, go t work, and then my fleets are back.

Agreed. Private forums would be the best way to prevent spying.

I disagree that this is circular worthy. Personally I thought it was a huge pain in the ass when someone sent out a message and 10 people replied with circular messages. It isn't exactly alliance critical info either, I even got swiped out of a buttload of resources before I was halfway to my destination. If we are going to send out circulars for this stuff, let's at least lay down a few ground rules like minimum available resources or maximum defenses.
