Sorry to double post but...I'm listening to Loudness right now, and it's completely balls out heavy metal. I'm serious, the song is called "222" and is heavier than expected.

Here I am, bored with everything.

Hey guys, I'm sick as fuck, so I won't survive being on the computer for very long. Any news? New band discoveries?

He's a silly bastard. I'd laugh if he was expecting to hear something good on the radio. I would never expect anything good on the radio, unless they play some old music that I like.

Folk music. Heh, I've listened to some folk metal and I've found it good. :) But I must listen to more folk metal.

I'm going to remember that.

I didn't notice it was on until they started playing MCR. I shat myself and tried to get away from the BBS but I couldn't, I endured the whole 3 or so minutes of that crappy song.

And almost no song that's shorter than 5 minutes is good. Well, my favourite song ever is 4 minutes long, but that's not far off.

Err, hi, I'd like to re-join. This was my cousin's account a while back, and he used this as a troll account. I never really got a chance to use it, and I'd like to actually join.

My favorite bands

Mayhem
Immortal
Acid Bath
Finntroll
Black Sabbath
Benediction
Napalm Death
Nasum
Terrrorizer
1349
Godflesh
Circle of Dust
Red Harvest
Into the Woods...
Naglfar
Nazgul.

etc.

Oh, and by the way, I'm Idiosyncratic's younger brother.

I lol'd. By the way, anyone who loves sludge/doom metal should check out Zoroaster. They have a demo out, and if you get your hands on it, buy it. It will knock you down and step on you until the last second of sludge is over. I bought a copy from some guy on Metal Archives. I love it.

you guys need to check Agatus' "Dawn of Martyrdom" - one of the finest Black Metal albums out there, especially the fantastic medieval acoustic parts.

This is a lot to ask but...

Can someone listen to Northwitch by Deadsea and tell me bands that sound like them? I have yet to find a band that plays their style of ambient prog doom/deathrash.

Hmm, a difficult one. I listened to the song, and no particular band pops into my mind when I hear it. Sorry.

Response to Metal Hell 2006-11-19 21:11:00

That's fine at least you made an effort...

Godamn, I think I might just ask them what they influences are at their next concert...

I know they like Astral Rising, which is a very good old French Doom/death band from the early 90's... Only release maybe a couple demos and a full length...

Response to Metal Hell 2006-11-19 21:15:38

Salem is a 22 minute masterpiece on their full length, (its not on the site)

Smith fucking rips his guitar apart on the end...

Response to Metal Hell 2006-11-19 21:22:49

You can also find them at Aquarius Records...

Here

There you can listen to the opening of Circles and Sabbat Woodcut and really get a feel for thow they incorporate jazz inproves into their amazing deathcore riffs.
