That sucks dude. We just went through this, TWICE, and have had to force feed the cops every step of the way, from finding out the persons name, address, and criminal history, to pretending to be someone else, and getting the guy to send us a list of all the stuff he had for sale.
We have, quite literally, had to hold the cops hands on this one.
If you do report your shit, make sure to follow up with them DAILY. Be pushy.

well i can't prove he stole it other than word of mouth of other people including the guy who told me. but the problem is the guy who told me is better friends with him so he wont tell the cops and if i do say im gonna snitch he'll probably tell the thief.
but the point is i have nothing to prove it... other than he probably has a criminal record and he is known for stealing alot of stuff.
