Great job on the anticipation there at the beginning and the looking away at the end.

Just a quick and crude double take practice here, didn't bother key-framing:

Hi, newgrounds animators.
In the morning I have been animating but I confront a big problem.
I made my sketch( for the proportions ) and later to make a cleaner animation some things have change .
I like more my sketch than the clean animation, I think is more fluent and smooth and the other is like a robot.
I don't know what to do.

The problem with your cleaner version is that the head and body are not moving. I also suggest adding some up and down movement to the head and body.

The cityscape looks a bit too static. You should ken-burns it.

I took some time with this one working on it off and on, it didn't turn out the way I wanted with the lower half of the model and the breast bounce. I will do some more studying and start over.

A stage 2 base figure 6 frame run cycle.

the keys for a walk cycle
dump.
This is really the only walk in the short I've just started (well not really, it was storyboarded a while ago, see the animatic here).

Anyway that's what I'm up to lately, just thought I'd drop by

Hi, my name is Alex:
http://www.newgrounds.com/dump/item/9a644629d6a0062e9894e5b0 ee9a34f0

It's nice to meet all of you. I'm extraordinarily new to animating. I just started today. Here's what I've made in the past 6 hours since my Wacom arrived.

Here's a Ball and Hammer:
http://www.newgrounds.com/dump/item/4e8ba68d5fff11a6330bbb58 65ddf8a9

My friend's a fan of sonic so I animated his art as a small favor:

I hope you guys enjoy all of my stuff. I also made a game nobody liked. It's called Shelter. You can view it in my profile or maybe we can just talk about animations, if that's what you'd like.

Welcome and nice job!

This is some stuff i had been working won a few months ago. It didn't turn out as I expected so I decided to dump it. Here it is:

That's wicked!

I'm really digging the atmosphere. Link seems more intimidating and the bosses finally seem scary. I wonder what other cool animations are lying around...

it seems a little bit choppy... maybe you should add more animated frames :)

Yeah but wouldn't that slow the action down? I kinda have it at the speed I was looking for. Any advice on how to add frames without slowing the action down?

I have some. If in-between frames and fiddling with the frame rate doesn't make sense, try experimenting with "ghosted" movements. Think about how manga/comic artists create action out of still images. They're under the ultimate animation constraint - they can't actually animate.

So they project.

Shit, that's amazing.

For me, I made 'Splosion Dick in like 30 minutes, so nothing fancy. The drawing and anatomy is horrendous. Please tell me what you think everybody!

This is a serious improvement. Good job.

I seem to notice an oddity in the running itself, though. The way the right (closest to camera) leg suddenly pops forward in the cycle seems a little off.
