Out of curiosity, what do you guys do to keep yourself entertained in Minecraft?

I can't play for more than 15 minutes at a time before I get extremely bored. I find myself doing the same monotonous actions every time I play in a new server: punch trees, dig a mine, find materials, build something which, once I finish, serves no purpose. So I switch to a new server and rinse and repeat.

I just don't get the appeal anymore. I'm thinking about abandoning it entirely until something worthwhile is added -- cross-server PvP, for instance, or zombie survival. A stupid new mob and some blocks aren't going to cut it.

I pretty much agree with you, I havent played Minecraft for a few months before yesterday, and I could only play for about 30 minutes before getting rather bored. I mean, it's alright, but I just feel like I'm wasting my time. In worse ways than I could. Like playing something that's actually engaging.
