Whoa, okay, the lag on the new server is like 70x worse than the old one. My chat lag time is like 50 seconds +, and sometimes it doesn't even load the map at all...

Also, for some reason when I was on the server a few hours ago, a player was just showing up as "Player" and there username didn't show up on the playerlist.

You can see a lot of places we've messed around with Cuboid, such as the Giant block of Obsidian and the giant block of Smooth stone. I <3 Cuboid.
Also, I made the huge area near the town with what appears to be dirt (it's actually glowstone)
You can remove it if you want.

What? Is that your house or something? Here's my little house, you can't really see it, but it's actually like 4 stories. 3 of them are underground. It doesn't have any lights in it either, all of the light coming from it is hidden glowstone under the stairs.

I forget about the pumpkins, so technically the glowstone isn't the only light source.. But the pumpkins barely do anything. They just make it so it's not pitch black outside.

I'm going to shut down the server for the night, just to be on the safe side. It's been running fine for an hour and a half, but I'd like to monitor it for longer just to make sure the pump and fittings have ZERO leaks.
Just not something I want to risk with my precious hardware.
I'll bring it back up when I wake up so I can keep an eye on things. Back to Slims server XD

I see a portable/placeable/equipable light source to be convineant, placing torches will be a bitch, but depending on how long they last it cant be so bad, also server is down.
