Me and Donut are in the same predicament as EVERY single Minecraft server right now.

You either downgrade, or you use the vanilla server. There simply is no other option at this point in time.

Sounds like the new update is just about as fun as eating glass.... or living with out a fucking computer right now. I am only able to respond on my wife's computer... I would try MC on it but its a Dell model POS 4600.

In other news I have a running version of Bukkit. I'll have to close down the vanilla server in a bit when the traffic dies down and experiment with it. I honestly have no clue what to expect with such an unfinished project...

Okay, update.

Bukkit is a no go. I got it running, it's exactly the same as hmod with the malformed byte errors. It needs to be updated.

As far as hmod goes, a die hard java guy is picking up hey0's slack supposedly. God only knows if this will work, but here's the post:

"Just to let you guys know, I'm actually working on getting hMod recompiled. I'm hoping I'll be done by morning. I'll post on this forum when I'm done."

Make sure you followed the instructions. To restore back to the current version, delete the bin folder and start up Minecraft and it will automatically update. If you're on a Mac, make sure to keep the natives folder intact throughout the whole downgrade process.

I did that and it's still fucked. It says 'Done Loading' and it's almost full but won't budge.

Delete all files related to the downgrade. ALL of them. Then redownload it. Keep only one set.

So.. does anyone else currently have brain slimes in their worlds? I modded mine out so I have brain slimes running about my beaches (they spawn at around sea level, on sand and gavel) it's kinda funny when I'm exploring my ocean areas and all I hear is "Yyhhhiip" as they try to jump onto my head. they spawn during the day and night.

Peaceful = smalls
Easy/normal = smalls+ medium
hard = Smalls + Mediums + larges + huge

I've had Minecraft since August, and have NEVER seen a slime. I have no clue why. I've been in some really deep caves too.

I require a patch to fix the spawning system for slimes, do you have it? I don't really want a mod for brain slimes just the regular spawning system fixed.

single player is fun...at moment and i have started building a ship... just need to place the tnt in a place where NO mistake EVER happen.
