Also OH SHIT A COMIC

Team Fortress 2
Added the Mann-conomy.
Added 65 new items (hats, weapons, tools, minigames, gifts, crates).
Added the Mann Co. Store & Catalog.
Added Trading.
Added Item customization.
Additional TF2 features
Added new auto-team-scramble system:
Set mp_scrambleteams_auto to 1 (default) to automatically scramble the teams if the criteria is met
Set mp_scrambleteams_auto_windifference to set the number of round wins a team must lead by in order to trigger an auto scramble (default is 2)
Updated how Spy disguise targets are selected to more randomly distribute the selections
Fixed the FreezePanel background not using the correct color if you were killed by a player or building on your own team
Server browser tweaks
It will now encourage you to add servers to Favorites or Blacklists after you have a good/bad experience on them.
The Server Browser now automatically closes after successfully connecting to a server (opt-out via the Options-Multiplayer->Advanced dialog)
Achievement tuning
Demoman achievement "The Stickening" changed to 3 from 5.
Heavy achievement "Krazy Ivan" changed to 50 from 100.
Medic achievement "Consultation" changed to 3 from 5.
Medic achievement "Peer Review" changed to 10 from 50.
Medic achievement "Placebo Effect" changed to 2 from from 5.
Medic achievement "FYI I am A Medic" changed to 1 from 5.
Medic achievement "Family Practice" changed to 5 from 10.
Soldier achievement "Geneva Contravention" changed to 3 from 5.
Scout achievement "Strike Zone" now counts assists.
Scout achievements "Fall Classic" and "Foul Territory" are fixed.

Basically, new TF2 update, adds a lot of hats, Polycount items, trading, minigames, MICRO-TRANSACTIONS (I know some of you will dislike this), naming and painting weapons and EVEN MORE STUFF!

Ok, so after seeing this update I decided to play for an hour and these are my personal thoughts:

+Good Points+
+ Trading is awesome and was an idea I thought would be a nice addition
+ All the new weapons seem nice and balanced although I didn't unlock any
+ You can now buy weapons but thank God they didn't take out random drops because I'm not ever gunna buy an item

-Bad Points-
- People spam chat with "anyone want to trade *insert item/weapon here* for *insert item/weapon here*"
- No one is going to buy items unless they're dumb or impatient 10 year olds
- All the server plugins (or at least the ones I've played) have been reset; not that this won't be fixed or is anything serious

In conclusion, VALVe has again satisfied me. I can't wait to try out the new weapons and possibly trade some stuff with my friends. Good job like always.

I think it's a pretty cool update and all, but I've heard they've made some items even rarer in random drops to entice people to buy them. Also I can't believe most of the hats are almost 20 bucks. Some of these prices are outrageous. I am happy to have the trading though

My two biggest hates of the new system are:
A) Hats have lost almost all rarity now
B) That sets require hats to complete

Fuck over the people who aren't willing to pay extra why don't you...
Sure, you don't need the sets, but you can't get the added bonus easily, which people who pay, can. And the hats you do get, someone else probably has them all already from buying them.

They removed the biggest bragging rights in the game and allowed ten year olds to buy them all.

Other than that, I like the new update. Cool new weapons, and I especially like the new jiggly-bones effect in the Mackerel and Darwin's Shield.

The thing that scares me, is the amout of people standing up for Valve. Micropayments are never good, no matter what you back it up with.

Seems like every company that used to have a soul, has now converted to this DLC/Micropayment bullfuck.

My take on the update:
Good:
-They returned the sandvich to its moist glory
-Trading
Bad:
-Update overcomplicated the game
-Snipers can be immune to headshots (Yes I'm aware that they can't deal headshots).
-Also THEY GOT RID OF THAT TAUNT GLITCH BY QUICK SWITCHING WEAPONS DERFTJHGK
So in conclusion they fixed, but removed 2 different ways of screwing around.
