That's quite a leap, compared to the second post.
I think the break free one is better in black and white. The shadow on his arm looks amazing but the one on his back and shoulder seems flat. I noticed it in the color picture that the back one appears to have no weight to it. I know that's weird of me to say but smaller when it's farther away and larger when it's closer might help. I like what you do so don't think I'm all Negative Nancy.

since i cant draw anything serious anyway,so i decided to draw this ^^
tried to draw the dragon serious, turned out bad and then i just added the guy for fun x)

i've looked at my own hand i think it looks right, the palm of the hand is facing inwards and he is supposed to rest his hand ontop of the cave.

Oh, so his hand is turned. Still, your hand can't rotate a full 180 degrees. You need to fix his arm angle then.
Well he is a cyklop, he's supposed to like like a monster and monsters dosen't always follow the laws of proportions. Anyway i tried to fix the angle of the arm , oh and his left hand is not backwards.

i think you would be best to scrap that arms position, whether or not he is supposed to follow exact human anatomy or not doesnt change that the position of his right arm just throws off the entire picture.
to illustrate what i mean, go grab a GI-joe...or barbie or whatever and hold it in your left hand, go to a mirror and then try to recreate the cyclops' pose. watch your right arm the whole time from hand to shoulder and then, move your arm to a more natural position, study that and then (in my honest opinion) try to draw the more natural position, not on this drawing, just draw your arm in position on a new piece of paper, and do it over and over again :D
you should learn alot if you do that

So here is my crazy doctor, posting it in an early stage so that you can give hints and tips to what should be changed before i complete the picture. Also his right is supposed to have only 4 fingers.
