Here's another:

It would be cool if the Kingdom of Machines icon could have the player and the robot that's waiting for you outside your house at the beginning. :)

On the subject of popular/classic authors, I'm surprised no-one has taken on Piconjo. Maybe he's been so quiet for a few years that hardly anyone recognises him these days? Whatever the case is, I call dibs on him since he's an icon on this site and I want to see what I've missed out.

I use to have it, but not anymore.

But didn't you say you made a special script so you wouldn't see me gold?

I remember him quite vividly. Have fun waiting an hour every time you need to make an icon for the Epic Kiss "series".

Godspeed, you magnificent dragon.

And don't forget how much he made fun of LegendaryFrog, Knox, John and Ritchie and such. I used to hate him 5 years ago for making fun of these artist but now that I look back at it, I just see him as satirical.

I forgot to mention that I'll actually be away tomorrow in London to see a viking metal festival concert but I'm sure I earned a day break and on Tuesday, I'll get to working on Piconjo's stuff.

Also, I'm starting to use the screenshot - crop method, and I think it's much faster. I like it.

I only use it when I'm in my lap. I just save the pictures on paint and then use the cropping method, which is fast as you said.
When I'm in my PC I use to crop them directly using Photoshop.

I'm glad the server accepts any kind of image extension now, and not only GIF files like in the old days.

Thats what I do.. I have a screen shot application titled screen hunter binded to one of my mouse buttons, as soon as I snap a shot of a game/movie I upload the full screen image and crop using the NG cropping tool, then move to the next in the list and repeat. Only problem is my icon folder gets cluttered after doing a couple users with a generous amount of content, not too bothersome. It's a faster process, I just hope they don't mind the bit of extra load this method carries with it since it does add up I guess. The finished product always has an acceptable file size so I guess thats another plus. THANKS FOR THE CONVENIENCE NG. :P

How do you save it with high quality in paint?

By the way, either Cast, Pigeon, or Slappy needs to level up. There's too many level 27 icon mods. >:(

Man, I'm tired of being a Level 10 after seeing the levels page. Level 20 just looks awesome.

Level 60 isn't bad, either.

Also, good tips with paint, newbies. I could never get anything with it.

There is a way to icon faster than using MS Paint, though. Try Screenhunter. You can set it to only take a screenshot of the window, and have it save and name files automatically, so it removes the step of saving everything.

So instead of prtscr, paste, save, upload, crop, submit, you do prtscr, upload, crop, submit. Easy icons.

Level 19 is kind of lame. I'm not going to like that. I like level 44, though. Too bad it's going to take me 4 years, 7 months, and 28 days to get there, assuming I don't miss any deposits.

I don't personally use it, but if you're really desperate for a different icon, I believe this Greasemonkey script allows you to change yours around.

I would use that script, but it takes my motivation for depositing away.

Okay, I went through the icon mods and 14hourlunchbreak, Alaska, Boss, Cast, ForNoReason, Lizzardis, TehSlapHappy, ThePigeonMaster are ALL level 27.

Again, there's WAY too many level 27 icon mods. I guess it doesn't really matter though, I'll probably stop depositing at level 27 anyways.
