I usually look forward to seeing the creative minds of other programmers on PicoDay, but this year I am sadly mistaken.
For a day that all Newgrounders know about it seems like people threw together some poorly made games just for exposure. I am not saying that people shouldn't make a game short and to their liking, but it is ridiculous when all the Pico related games on the homepage are either short or super buggy.
YOU HAD A YEAR!!
Either people are lazy or in a rush.
I know I am not a programmer myself and I know that it takes a lot to program and create a game, but come on guys, there are only a few easy steps to making a game enjoyable.
I will await any other Pico related games with diligence, but if they seem like a complete waste of posting I may lose some hope. There has to be a game developer out there that like Pico and wants to make a great version. If the case is that of inexperience, then it is understandable, but I would hope that experience developers would take a liking.
To all that enjoy Pico, have a wonderful Pico Day and a great weekend.
happy pico day everyone!
Props to jouste for the awesome background... too bad the ads block it on the front page

We are currently webcasting from floor 1 of the NG office on Stickam and will probably be webcasting for most the day.

Visiting Newgrounds Since 2003
Happy Pico day! This is my first year on newgrounds and first pico day. So........
Happy Pico day!!!
I like how I can't see the side-bar Pico Day images on the main page because Newgrounds whored out to some shitty business game. Bravo.
Are the awards over? No artist of the year? =/
Also, you guys could have used a microphone for whoever was talking in there. I couldn't listen to anything without turning up the volume really high, than getting a "" afterwards.
Either way, congrats to the winners!
