Just need a Groudon and a Rayquaza for my trainer star now, since I have Kyogre on Heart Gold, and Mew and Celebi don't count towards it. Suppose I'll have to run through Soul Silver to get them.

Rayquaza might be the most infuriating legendary to catch ever.

Not only does it have Rest, it also uses Outrage and kills itself via confusion. Tempted to transfer my Master Ball from Platinum to catch the cunt.

HELP I beat sabrina in safffron ages ago and now i have all other badges except blue's an sabrinas, even though i have beaten her? whats up with that??

Ended up catching Rayquaza with a Heavy Ball last night, and just now got my trainer star for beating the Master Rank super contest.

Silver trainer card now. Need to do the 50 flags in the Underground and the 100 Battle Tower wins. 50 flags is just tedious, but 100 Battle Tower wins is nearly impossible.

Are you sure you have beaten Sabrina? Was there not one ordinary trainer in the gym trying to impersonate Sabrina or something...? I can't remember that well, but if the game says you don't have her badge yet then you must have never beaten her yet. Maybe you forgot to save or something.

Had another go at battle tower, lost at only 28 wins this time.

Still, provided you hit 21 each time, it's good BP grinding, since the 3rd set (battles 15-21, ending with Palmer) nets you 20 BP instead of the usual 3, and since my Smeargle outspeeds his Milotic, which he leads with when I lead with Smeargle, it's a guaranteed win since I can always set up the belly drum and baton pass it to Gyarados for an easy sweep.

Just downloaded a rom of the game for use with my TTDS.

Used the female sprite, since the guy looked like an arsehole. I don't want to be no backwards cap, one-strap-backpack, baggy shorts, sneakers with no socks wearing prat.

Chose Cyndaquil as my starter. Named him Bunsen.

Stuck in a battle with a lv. 24 Diglett which knows Arena trap. I'm using a Lv. 88 Ampharos so I can't run, switch out or even hurt it.

Sounds like Ampharos needs a more versatile moveset. All Electric attacks are just asking for Ground Pokemon or anything else resistant to come and force you to switch.

I thinking of using a heart scale to make it learn that Bug move so it'd be helpful against dark pokemon. I really want to learn it thunderbolt over discharge but seeing as the only way I can get it is through playing the voltorb game about a billion times I really can't be assed.

Are the Fossils version exclusive? I've found 1 Amber and 4 Dome fossils but no Helix fossils. Playing SS just so you know.

You can find a Thunderbolt TM in the Unknown Dungeon, too.

Are the Fossils version exclusive? I've found 1 Amber and 4 Dome fossils but no Helix fossils. Playing SS just so you know.

Don't think so. Might be like Diamond and Pearl where while both of each pair of fossils from previous generations were obtainable, one was more common than the other in each game.

yes, HG has helix fossil and claw fossil, and SS has Dome and root fossils.

To my knowledge, Rotom is a technical rare Pokemon because you can't catch it in the game, but in diamond/pearl/platinum, it is not...

i used to have ruby buti lost it and barelyplayed it so i don´t count that one.

On the subject of Rotom, it's not a legendary just a one of a kind Pokemon that you can only get off Diamond/Pearl/Platinum. Fortunately you can breed it like a rabbit so I have a bunch sitting in my box.
