Peeps being inactive on Xbox due to stuff and things in real life probably contributes to it, too. Plus I think a few people have moved on to PlayStation or PC gaming more frequently, myself included in the latter.
Or Nintendo too, I guess

I'm sure there's a bunch of people with new games because of Christmas but as you said they're probably for their new PS4s or PC's.
But yeah I can imagine a lot of people spending most of their time with their families these holidays as opposed to on games consoles.
I do that for Christmas Day and Boxing day then it's back to normal
My Xbox almost never is online, I always play offline due to internet restrictions at my house. It's not that I've been inactive, I just haven't able to go online in months.
But when I do, expect a influx in GS from me, like 2000 more GS type influx

I've been playing a fair bit of GTA Online recently, and I swear that levelling up takes longer than your typical MMO.
I've also having loads of fun playing Killzone: SF, BF4 and Ghosts on my PS4! Was thinking of live streaming some games sometime soon, we'll see.

For what it's worth, Sleeping Dogs will be free in January, so you can hold off on buying that if you're interested in it.
I see that Bully: Scholarship Edition is still on sale for $3.74 (dunno what that is for you), and Hitman Absolution is $7.99, so there's those two, although Absolution, while enjoyable, is far from the best Hitman game in the series in my opinion.

For some reason, I had the bright idea of playing Lollipop Chainsaw a few nights ago, got 90g from it. I'll admit, it's somewhat embarrassing it's both the last and first game I've played in 2013 and 2014 respectively :x

Ended up just keeping my money for now. Tomb Raider is tempting since it's currently £13 but I may be getting a newer model of the 360 when they get a bit cheaper and 99% of the bundles come with Tomb Raider anyways.

Whoa I finally moved up a place. Time to push some more through my backlog.
GAME have a 5 for £20 deal on at the moment which is pretty cool so I made the most of it and got Undead Nightmare, Dragon Age Origins, Max Payne 3, and OF: Red River.
Red River is the only one I've played and it's not really what I was expecting. I recall playing Dragon Rising once and it sucking but being ultra realistic which was for some reason what I really fancied at the time but Red River just seems like the new MoH games but worse. Which is a shame but I'm sure I'll get through it.
Very excited to play Undead Nightmare and Dragon Age however, I've wanted both for a long time.
I got Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon while it was on sale. Loving every minute of it.

You know, I think "Nice Like Jesus" (from Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon) may be one of my favorite names for an achievement.
Fucking a, Blood Dragon took like no time to beat at all, including achievements. Still, not a bad experience for the less than $5 I spent. Length aside, I definitely like it a lot more than Far Cry 3.

I remember having a tiny amount of money left on my card from when I didn't have a job and it being the 17th of September i.e. GTA V release day and having it not show up.
I needed something to take my mind off it and I decided on Blood Dragon which was just the perfect thing. Got through it all including achievements in one day and then day after GTA showed up.
That is a good memory.
Played a few hours of AC 4 and it's better than AC 3 was in everyway possible.
Although, AC 3 was a horrible glitchy mess so I suppose it's not hard to beat that.
Still need to play Sleeping Dogs and Lego Lotr but PC games are distracting me.

I picked up Old School Runescape last week. I haven't got time for other games now.

I've mostly been playing a combination of The Last of Us (now that I have a PS3) and Battlefield 2 on PC. I started my new job a few days back as well so I don't feel like I have as much time for gaming during the week. It seems that when I get home I prefer to just browse the internet and watch stuff.
Spent the weekend playing a shit load of Max Payne 3. I don't think I ever realised what a great game it is.
Nearly collected all the clues and I got all the gun parts. I'm thinking of going through it on the hardest difficulties and new york minute as well, and do all the grinds at the same time.
Hopefully my interest in it stays up that long because there's a lot of G involved in that.

Just a handy hint if you decide to go for New York Minute Hardcore, do the story on Hardcore, and then Old School difficulty. It'll train you to stop relying on Last Man Standing as it can potentially screw you over a long way into NYMH and end a several hour run, and it helps you to preserve painkillers which you'll end up doing over time anyway as you memorize enemy spawns and learn how to deal with every single gunfight in the safest and quickest way possible.

I had planned to be a cheapskate and glitch the Hardcore and Old School achievements by doing that switch difficulty thing provided it still works.
I still don't know what the difference is on Hardcore and Old School but I suppose I'll find out soon enough. Hard difficulty was pretty easy but I've never played any other difficulty and to me it just seemed about right considering the type of game it is, I wouldn't have been surprised if that was normal difficulty.
Bought Dishonored, Warhammer 40K: Space Marine, SSX, and downloaded Spec Ops: The Line while it was still on sale. All for under $60. Yaaay~
But now I have $9.83 left in my Microsoft account, and the mere existence of that .83 rustles my jimmies, because I KNOW I will at some point be cents away from buying something cool sooner or later.
Also, since when did the Microsoft internet-dosh cards come in $15 and $25? I thought they had $5 and $10 cards as the cheapest?
