They patched that, plus they reduced the amount of time explosions give you in New York Minute for some reason. No point glitching them if you want to complete all of the Grinds really.

I still don't know what the difference is on Hardcore and Old School but I suppose I'll find out soon enough. Hard difficulty was pretty easy but I've never played any other difficulty and to me it just seemed about right considering the type of game it is, I wouldn't have been surprised if that was normal difficulty.

You take 2-3 bullets to die and it's near impossible to kill enemies with melee in Hardcore, Old School is Hard difficulty without the Last Man Standing mechanic.

Damn I probably won't manage that, especially not for 20G. The melee thing doesn't really bother me I never ended up being able to get up to anyone to melee them as it was.

I only have a few more to go but I may try Hardcore seeing as that's 80G and will help towards the grinds.

So I don't have my xbox hooked up to the internet, but believe me I have been keeping up with my games. I went and finished Silent Hill 3 about two months ago, and since then I have been playing lots and lots of Fallout 3 and Dark Souls. Not to mention I got Silent Hill Downpour, Dragon Age 2, Saints Row 3 and F.E.A.R. for christmas.

So I got a bunch of games I'm playing at the moment, though I am spending most of my time on Dark Souls, which is slow going since I am utterly terrible at the game. 45 hours in, and I have only just reached Anor FUCKING Londo

Besides that I have been playing pc much more lately since I brought a bunch of games on the Steam Christmas Sales. But all in all, I am far from dead, I have just been keeping my xbox offline for the last couple months.

I started playing Max Payne 3 a short while ago but gave up fast because it felt a chore. Just kept dying over and over and took forever to reach a new checkpoint.

Anything above medium generally makes it impossible to just run in and take a shitload of bullets and do things the fast way.

So Tomb Raider and the Guardian of Light is free. It's pretty meh, but I'll force myself to play it because Kane & Lynch are in there for absolutely no reason and I love them.

Also, Dishonored is pretty fucking tight, although I hate how I can't change the field of view on consoles. Pardon the rant, but why can't every FPS ever have that option, whether it's on PC or console? I may sound like TotalBiscuit, but if certain games like Borderlands 2 gave me the option of changing the FoV for Xbox 360, I would probably play them more.

If you guys have never played the game before I'd highly recommend picking it up as it's a great game with a ton of replay value.

I'm in the same situation, aside from the uni thing (been there done that). I never feel like I have all that much time on week days to play video games so I just play them on weekends. Although in reality I have loads of time. I work 9-5 through the week but I'm always home before 5:30pm and usually go to bed around 11. I could play for at least a couple hours a day.

Sure does. I seem to be in a bit of wonky situation myself now thanks to a change in circumstances. Unemployed, hardly any jobs about and my health has taken a turn for the worse. I was once dead against going to uni to pursue something in IT, but now I've been having second thoughts, and I'm on standby 24/7 as an assistant carer for some of my family members.

I'm also gaining interest on this loan.

I have no source of income and have to pay 425/mo for rent + 32/mo for internet. I have a 1 year lease that ends in August. After spending so much time looking for a job and everything that goes along with that and getting no response anywhere I just sit here waiting for something to happen. Almost $10,000 in debt with nothing gained and I can't afford to live here, but I haven't been kicked out yet... how in the fuck am I supposed to come back from something like this? I didn't feel like I was ready to go to college as soon as I had finished high school, but I was pressured into it and felt like I would fall behind if I didn't go. Should have just stayed home working at McDonalds for a year.

Still have an Xbox One though... I should probably sell it now. I think it might be a bit hard to find someone who wants a used one when they're available everywhere here.

That's exactly where I'm at. 9-4.30 and I usually get home at 5:15 but I always feel like I'm wasting all my time if I play games. Though that's only because it makes the time go way faster. It's not really a waste but I feel I need to cherish it more.

That's kinda dumb though so I'm just going to play games whenever I want to, it's something I enjoy so it can hardly be a waste of time.

I am having a week off in February though as a few of my friends have free houses for that week and they're all off college for half term so we'll just hang out and do w/e I guess, I'm hoping to bring Rock Band along too so I can get that all important gaming time in.

Being unemployed is great for the first two weeks or so because it feels like a holiday where you can do what you want.
Then it sinks in you've got no money, no social life and not much a purpose. Quickly goes downhill from there!

What little time I have for games is currently being spent on AC4. Really enjoying it and the fact that theres so much to do. Also got back into GTA's multiplayer which is fun again thanks to all these custom created game modes.

How do you pull that off? I'm still living with my parents and I suppose now that making decent money I'll eventually start considering whether or not I'll be moving out any time soon. I should have the money to do it, but is it really worth it? Spending a significant chunk of my wages to live on my own. I dunno yet. Would be different if I had a partner to move in with, but I don't so I'm not sure how worthwhile it actually is. Still, it's something I've been thinking about. I'm 22 now, I should probably move out.

Hah, I know that feeling. When uni ended I was unemployed for about 6 months. I didn't claim job seekers allowance until maybe the last 2 months. So most of that time I couldn't afford to be going out every weekend. I generally just sat about the house and played videos games or watched DVDs. It wasn't so bad at first, but after a couple weeks I just wanted something to do. To have a proper schedule again. So glad that I now finally have a job and it's a job I'm really enjoying too. The guys I work with are all a good laugh too.

I'd mention something gaming related in this post too, but I've not been gaming much on Xbox. Playing Symphony of the Night when I get the chance, but playing that via my PS3.

Whelp. I have acquired Dark Souls and Splinter Cell Blacklist. Got the former while it was on sale on the marketplace. Apparently the latter's game case was nibbled on by a Gremlin while it was in the mail.

I work in technical support for a telecommunications company called Gradwell. It's quite fun actually. Its mainly to do with VoIP which is like Skype and shit (just phone calls over the internet) and stuff like that. There's broadband and hosting and stuff attached too but it's quite a lot of fun. It's done wonders for my social skills too funnily enough.

On a gaming related note, I've started piecing together a gaming PC properly this time, as opposed to sticking to a shitty budget that I can't extend, I'm going up to about a £950-1000 because after that there's literally not much else that I would need to buy. So I reckon I'll start buying that piece by piece and hope to have it built up soon.

There's a guy at work who used to piece together computers for a living so if I need any help I know who to go to.

Finally passed 40,000 after beating Modern Warfare 3.
