It's good to see that we're getting some interest in this months contest. Though if you are thinking any of this is fanboyish i would not say it is. I thought it would be a good theme since writing poems would not spark any interest from the normal user. If you guys have any questions or ideas feel free to ask me and i will get to you when i'm on.

I think for October, what would fit good would be a Horror Monolouge.

I am making mine about Dr. Seuss. What a great man he was.

It will count. I said anyone who does it after that post will most likely not be counted, if i find the time then maby they will.

My question: Can we include directors under the definition of artists? I'd like to do a poem about Tim Burton, but I'm gettting mixed signals about what is/isn't okay for the subject of said poem.

I'm not sure about Idiot-buster or any of the other judges, but I could care less. I think I can pretty much say that it can be anyone famous.

But I would say that including who you are writing about, as well as what kind of poem it is is probably the most convenient for us.

So, I think this is a dumb question. But we're limited with what we write about? I mean, we need to write about a certain person, artists or groups, or I didn't get the description correctly?

You have to write about someone famous. Basically it's limited to you writing about someone who is well known in some form of media, be it TV, music, etc.
