You know what intel was absolutely ridiculous? The one that you need to find in the trees when on a snowmobile. How could anybody find it? It's so small that I had to do circles in and around the trees to locate its exact location.

Then its a few missions in Spec Ops and its all over for that Platinum.. Then back to Dead Space one more time for THAT Platinum.

May I be your Spec Ops buddy? :3

Is it worth it?

The Intel in the Gulag when Price knocks you out was so obvious yet I ran past it on all 4 of my playthroughs. That mission was never fun and doing it again just for that intel was ANNOYING. Regardless got all 45 and all Veteran missions done :D

Yes you may :)

Gotta do all Echo missions and I think one or two from Charlie and Delta.

for trophies? I guess. Gotta go a little out of you way to get some but generally they're fairly easy. The game itself is boring.

I haven't played either DI or GOW 3, but the general consensus is that Dante's Inferno is a gimped GOW3.

It tried its hardest to rip the style of GOW but it forgot about epic boss battles, a likable main character, good combat and story. It instead decided to just steal the fixed camera, a higher power concept (Heaven and Hell instead of greek gods), and a signature weapon... Oh and tits and...*cough*dicks*cough*. It wasn't even as good as the original god of war, forget 3.

Not getting the game purely for trophies, I love getting them but I think getting a game for trophies, unless you're renting it, is a total waste of cash. I get games for enjoyment!

Secondly, I hear the game is ALRIGHT, but also very short, which is why I didn't pick it up at launch, because I felt the game length didn't justify the pricetag. HOWEVER, 20euro for the Death Edition of the game, new, is pretty good value.

To summarize, would you value the game at 20 bucks? Is it worth it? Overall, including, gameplay, trophies and whatnot. Fair price for it?

Thats pretty much what I do. Rent for trophies(test for fun ones), then buy the fun ones. I usually try for every style of game. And rate based on whats fun.

Ok when I first played dantes inferno, it was fun. I had fun with it. As I played it? Not so much. Once you beat the learning curve the games no longer enjoyable. Once you unlock and fully upgrade your cross move, your unstoppable and you'll be spamming circle for the rest of the game.

I found it as lengthy as any singleplayer action game these days. I mean i didn't buy god of war 3 because I knew it didn't offer enough in terms of length. Granted it's probably the only game I'd go out of my way to rent day one and I enjoyed all 10 hours of it, but its just not a buy for me and neithers dantes inferno.

That said, it's not the length thats the issue with dante, it just doesn't do anything new no matter how deep you go. It's all dark and gloomy and boring. Where's the heaven levels? I thought it would of been sweet to rip through those golden gates and slaughtering the servants of god aswell as the slaves of hell(im not religious don't judge me). I don't know I just expected more variety.

To summarize, would you value the game at 20 bucks? Is it worth it? Overall, including, gameplay, trophies and whatnot. Fair price for it?

I personally don't buy games for the added bits. Just cause you get all this stuff with the game doesn't mean now its worth the price. Even if the added stuff exceeds the price you'll be paying for special edition since I'm really only interested in playing the game. Someone says hey look buy this crap game with all this stuff included for 20 bucks, and I'll just tell em I'll keep the 20 and use it to discount a game thats better.

I finished a straight-through playthrough of Lego Harry Potter in just one day. Now the GoW collection should be here tomorrow, so I'll play through that and when I'm finished, attempt a Lego Harry Potter platinum, and then hopefully go back to platinum GoW 1 & 2 if I haven't already. Are there two platinum trophies from it?

Gotten nearly every trophy in Modern Warfare 2 and Dead Space.

MW2 I just need 4 Spec Ops missions to do and I have the Platinum.

Dead Space I just need to get a Chap. 11 treasure, upgrade everything, and beat Impossible mode and I get that Platinum.

Sweet!

+5? I s'pose it didn't register all that LEGO Harry Potter yet. Last night I got 2 or 3 golds and 4-6 silver. A couple bronze too. The God of War collection is on my PS3 right now, but my brother's playing his Xbox right beside it while listening to his music. He won't turn it down...

So Gustavos, you wanna help me finish Spec Ops later tonight? Like in 4 hours?

I'm sorry about yesterday when you messaged me, I was doing Armor Piercing in MW2 with my bro and we fucked up at 1 Hostile like 3 times and we finally beat it but there was no time to message you back.

Only 4 missions left, Snatch & Grab, something else, Wet Work, and High Explosives.

Sorry, mate. Not today.

Only 4 missions left, Snatch & Grab, something else, Wet Work, and High Explosives.

High Explosives I can't help you with. I used a trick on it that I highly reccomend you use. It's difficult with two players because one guy is gonna die, and have no chance to be revived. I finally did it on my fourth try. I reccomend practicing this method on easier difficulties at least once. To clarify, you don't have to run out of the house at any point. They spawn automatically, but start coming faster as the event goes on.

88% done with Ratchet And Clank: A crack in Time. I just need 14 more gold bolts, and to beat the game again on hard, which should be easy.

Gaah, doing all this Harry Potter stuff is such a tedious task. I have to go here so I can unlock this character to be able to activate this thing to get this character so I can get this character who can activate this thing. It's rather annoying. I'm still going to attempt to finish it with 100% though.

Gustavos, I beat HE with a buddy. We ran into a house with only an entrance on the right side of the map, and he stood in front of the doorway knifing the Juggernauts while I was out of sight reviving him after he got shot down.

Beat it in about 10 minutes. All I need now is Wet Work but I keep fucking up the 2nd Breach.

O_O I had complete faith in you doing it. I was worried about me doing it cause I always mess up, and I got shot at and still made it :D My heart felt a sigh of relief when we won.

Well i got a silver trophy out of it. Gunna go farm prince of persia forgotten sands trophys now.

I almost finished that, missed like 50 seeds and I think 2 trophies for that Platinum.

I remember this one time at Wetwork me and my friend had finally, after numerous attermpts, defeated the wave of enemies before the final breach.

Then, without warning, there was some crazy synch issue. He saw me standing still next to a wall, I saw him doing the same.

We didn't know what the hell happened and we had to start all over.

Good times, I miss the days I spent trying to beat Spec Ops

It's funny cause I wasn't trying for the Platinum in MW2 at all.

I went to my mothers house for the week and me & my bro had 2 of my PS3s hooked up in the living room and his room so we were playing online 10 feet away from eachother and I hate the online so we decided to do some Special Ops for the fun of it.

I had like 35 stars and we ended up getting all the way up to like 60 by the time I left. Then finished 1 Op last night with LocoJoe, 1 today with him, and 1 tonight with TheNarf.

MW2 Plat get!

I've run out of actually good games to play, so I've resorted to playing a bunch of cheap, supposedly mediocre games.

Eat Lead: The Return of Matt Hazard- one of the worst games I've ever played. I was about 3/4 of the way through before I decided I had been through enough torture. It's not even mechanically or technically sound; I had to turn my controller on and off every time I played to get rid of an aiming glitch.

Alone in the Dark- I was really impressed by this game. I don't know the state of the 360 version, but I get the feeling the PS3 version, which came out later, was unfairly reviewed. It was a really solid all-around experience with some excellent puzzles and varied gameplay. Not all the mechanics are perfectly executed, but the shear volume of stuff going on in the game is a marvel.

Terminator: Salvation- It wasn't great, but at least the controls were pretty solid. It was fun enough in co-op.

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed- Currently playing this and enjoying it a lot more than I thought I would. I remember hating the demo when the game came out, but the game is actually pretty fun. I still think the combat system leaves a lot to be desired, but it's been worth playing so far.
