VorRath's? His is the best, in my opinion. He managed to make Jinx NOT look terrible, and his Alakazam and Gengar are just awesome. I also really liked Arvalis' bulbasaur.
The reason I don't want to do it is because I'm absolutely nowhere near good enough to do it. I'd just look like an idiot trying to do what some awesome people did. You can do it justice, though.

Solid shows a much better texture but soft has a nice....well soft transition, it looks more 3d
Both look really nice an solids are more in your style but sorts are show a really nice transition and makes everything look a little rounder plu the shades and highlights don't stand out to much to take everything apart so I'll go with softs on this one.
solid looks better in my opinion, its more bold and goes with lineart better
I really like the solid shading. The effect it gives looks awesome, and besides that, I feel it fits your style more. The soft shading does look more 3d though, and gives a more painty feel.
I think it honestly comes down to personal preference.
