But Ive seen at least one of the websites before sometime in the summer it used to go to way into the ten of thousands. And I remember you could toggle like gfoxcook style etc.

Heh heh, yeah, that was my NGTL. Oh, by the way, I want to make a couple of small corrections to BonusStage's otherwise excellent history lesson: the other list makers used my NGLister program to make their lists (the NGTL was based on my own private programs), and my massive 1.5 million profile runs (I ran them at the beginning of each month) took about 3 days to finish. The weekly runs only had about 80,000 profiles.

But yeah, you can still access the NGTL at http://ngtl.jfsoftware.com. Some of the mirror sites have fallen into disrepair, but most of the lists are still in working condition, if not a little outdated.

At one point, Dogma had the b/p list up past the top 1500, actually. During the NGLister age, Dogma did the entire Elite Guard ranks. They haven't been less than 500 strong since... oh, I dunno, early 2004 or something. Maybe even 2003. During 2004-2005 NGLister era, they were well over 1000 strong, and so was Dogma's list. You silly sillies. Pimp and HT were Police Lieutenants from like 2003 to 2005. They both ranked up to Police Captain only because they get maybe 6 b/p a month (tops) over time... they both crept up to 1000 and passed it. It'll be a long time before they rank up again at 1500. A looooong time. Neither has turned on the jets. (1022 for Pimp, 1003 for HT... I rest my case... hell, my alt just passed the both of them a week or so ago. #;-}>)

They used to be more-or-less tied in VP before Pimp ranked up first, BTW. Now that HT's finally hit the same rankup (and now that they're truly tied in exp, also) they're back to being tied in VP again. This time perfectly, not "more-or-less" anymore.

Indeed. Relatively speaking. I have a few of my fave movies I've moved up from 3.93 to 3.98 (or thereabouts) in the past few months. With 1000s of votes already. And I know I was doing most of the work because the VP would sometimes be a bit higher or lower the next day, but I vote on the same movies every single day while depositing, and I notice the .xxxx VP amounts each time I vote. Including the nice positive effect I have on it. Slowly but surely.

And some of my faves (with only 100s of votes, not 1000s) I've moved up from like 3.20 to 3.80 or higher over time. VP IS TEH BEST.

No no no no no. Pimp didn't miss one in that month, HT did, damnit. Although Pimp said he missed a deposit a year or two ago (can't remember which) in December, my records don't show that either. I save the top 50 exp list every single day. And this is who missed deposits when for the past 2.5 years:

September 2003 - April 1st, 2004 - HT > Pimp by 30 exp

on April 2nd, 2004, HT missed a deposit.

April 2nd, 2004 - June 10th, 2005 - HT > Pimp by 20 exp

on June 11th, 2005, HT missed another deposit. sooo...

June 11th, 2005 - November 11th, 2005 - HT > Pimp by 10 exp

on November 12th, 2005, HT missed another deposit. sooo...

November 12th, 2005 - ??? - HT and Pimp are TIED AT LEVEL 30.

IOW, HT missed a deposit in April 2004, June 2005, and November 2005. 3 deposits missed in over 2 years. Hence the 30 exp gap that was once there is now a 0 exp gap. The math makes perfect sense, trust me on this.

Pimp hasn't missed one since summer of 2003. He and HT were having teh "referral exp bonus" wars that summer. That's why my data/tracking is only from September 2003 to the present.

Hate to break it to you, but I've been planning on doing just that (getting Gallon to EGSC). Once I get to EGSC on this account I'm splitting my b/p between Xiivi and Gallon. Sorry for the unfortunate event on your behalf. Don't worry, the pace I'll be pushing Gallon at will be relatively slow. The reason is I want to make sure that when I hit the rank up the account will be at 15.00 VP. Sadly, if the account was EGSC today, it would still be in the 14.XX range. Chances are you'll never be on this list but incase you were wondering right now you need to be AT LEAST level 14 or like 6,300 exp (around that) and EGSC.
