So it turns out that I didn't make the cut for the latest edition of my uni's magazine. I'm a little sad, I think I got my hopes up way too high, but I'm just going to wait to hear back from the editor, and see what I can do about being more successful in the future.

Dude, why is there like 10 different threads right now with the word "genre" in the title? It is quite annoying and I hope Riggy the supermod comes by and locks them all in one fell swoop.

NO! Dont use red eyes it would look like some noobish photoshopping. Green glowin eyes would be good. By using the blending options for outer and inner glow effect.

Nore likely than not, It's probably not what the editor was after.The magazine had a loose "theme" and I think my writing style is too harsh and unrefined for the magazine at this point in time. Haven't got a reply yet, and I'm not sure if I will, maybe that's just how big magazines work, and if I plan to send stuff to national literary magazines, then that's something I've got to get used to.
