i deleted them, becasue according to the first post in this thread, it ain't supposed to be mainly about discussing audio, and definitley not advertising, since there's a separate thread for that.
hell, i knew that even before actually reading through the first post closer.

since the discussion was brought up due to som user shamelessly advertising his own material, and now is banned for it, i removed all posts to keep things clear. dont worry, i won't be roaming these parts of the forums all too often, it's not my main domain.

Weekend!

Yep weekends are almost here! Sadly I still got some exams to do. Half of them, or something like that. BUT, when I finish exams (Somewhere in the first week of May), I'll get my laptop, and start making music! Anyway weekends always equals for me "PARTIES", so I might hang with my friends a lot this weekend. Gonna visit the Lounge though :P

Transformer

I don't want to offend you sir, but please don't mess with the Lounge and Audio Forums in general. Go lurk General Forums please.

I believe what MrSaint was trying to say is that we already have a few resident mods that keep this place nice 'n' tidy, so there's no need for you general-cleaning folks to tire yourselves with checking this place out.

It's so that every user can have their moment in the sun. :) So naturally, a congrats is in order. But I wouldn't put it above him to rig the system. After all, he is the bad-man. >:D

SOME KID CALLED ME A JOCK
So yesterday after making a delivery i was unchaining my bike and it was kinda stuck so with a mighty grunt i pulled it free from its bike webbed confines. Once i set my bike down i heard a small voice yell "YEAH JOCK."

I turned around only to find that the person that said this was a kid around 15 years old and he was wearing eyeliner... i couldnt help but laugh at him.. he was wearing eyeliner and of all people to call a jock .. seriously

Response to The Audio Forum Lounge 2009-04-24 10:04:08

Jock

You kick his ass? Then ride your bike all up and down his ass?

You should have. I would have.

I like to rhyme.

The lounge

Since when do april fools jokes mess with our lounge?
Seriously. it's not because it's the lounge that you can't chat about music.

Anyway, I'm off to program a bit.

Well, I get the computer the whole weekend (brother got grounded for going outside and not checking in the house or calling.

Yay.

11 year olds cant be trusted outside without being told, i gave him a talk on the way home when i found him about abduction. He was trying to talk me out of telling him, but he doesn't know anything about abductions. I told him about how biting people or hitting them nowadays doesnt really do anything (it really doesnt to people today) but he just kept trying to get out of it.
Well other than that, time for a fulltime weekend of nothing! I may as well remake my song "Grey", it's really not so great and I need to make it better. Anyone that wants to check that out can find it on my page.

I read everything about Chron and stuff, seems like an okay guy when he isn't acting wierd on the forums. I'd howl if we actually bumped into eachother at something (we probably wouldn't recognize eachother though) I'd get him to sign my shirt.

What the fuck, he's 11 not fucking FIVE. And you're 13, who are you to lecture him on this? Seriously from my age's viewpoint there is not much difference between the two (no offense) And how is going outside dangerous for him, unless you live in East LA or something...

Well first of all, he didn't understand the lolness of getting abducted, and how uberly anmoying it is to be abducted. And plus, I didn't want to hear my parents scream at him about what I lectured him on, so I told them that i explained and they cut it short. And Stoney Creek is a pretty bad area. And it actually isn't dangerous (pay no atttention to the quote about SC) it's just that not coming home until 6 could really stir some bad things up in the parents heads, well they'd think he got abducted but then he comes home. The parents are mad yet glad that he arrived, but mad that he didnt bother to call or something. Had he have stayed at his friend's house after and not told anyone, that would creep the fuck out of my parents. And yes, I have no right to lecture him but I have the right to care about my little brother, and the least I can do is constantly tell him the differences between good and bad (he doesnt listen to me at all anyways)

ANYWAYS. Let's forget about abductions unless you want to bold a title about it and continue. All i wanted to say is how my brother got grounded, not make a whole argument/debate on it.

So who here wants to talk about their weekend plans?

HAHA getting abducted is uber annoying? Or did you mean to say getting abducted usually leads to brutal rape, murder, and most likely both? I think that goes a little beyond "annoying", kid ;)

Weekend Plans

I really don't have much planned for this weekend. I'm just going to chill out and work on my music. In fact, I may be able to finish this weekend!

Response to The Audio Forum Lounge 2009-04-24 20:58:32

Weekend Plans

I'm just probably going to mix a few pop-punk tracks, work on some more new ambient music.
Going to my dad's so I sort of get cut off from the world. It's nice in a way, but, not so nice is so many others.

Yeah, I have no life.
And no job.... Lack of money = lack of booze :'(
I don't like it :D hah

Long Weekend

It's the long weekend here in Australia. ANZAC day is today, it's all about the Australian and New Zealand soldiers who went to WW1 and WW2.

I'm working from noon today. Might get some music/writing done in the morning. Tomorrow I'm hoping to catch up with a good friend of mine that I don't get to see all that often. And Monday, I'm filming a short movie for my University assignment that's due this coming Friday.

Should be pretty good.

Cool, cool. You plan on doing anything special at your dad's, or are you just there to mellow out and relax?

Yeah, I have no life.

What does ANZAC stand for? Is it somewhat like Veteran's Day? It sounds pretty interesting.

The only person that who can guess who's alt this is, is Chron. (With out looking at my profile- only first guesses).

On Break

My school is fucked up. We have the strangest weeks for vacation ever. Last week of April is our spring break while everyone had there's before or after Easter. Doesn't make any sense.

Australia and New Zealand Army Corps.

There's usually a big dawn service each year over in Gallipoli where a lot of soldiers were dropped off at the wrong place and were slaughtered. It's a big deal for a lot of Australians.

Check this out.

This little girl is the daughter of one of my coworkers. They just released her first album, and she's a better musician than I'll ever hope to be. She writes most of her own music (Seven of the ten tracks on this CD) and is booked solid at area shows over the summer, basically naming her own price.
