I feel really bad for you, but it is still lucky that he is alive, or maybe not for him. I don't know if he would be happier dead or not. Grr, cant really explain it, but I think you get what I'm trying to say.

I've had two friends whose parents were like that. One of my friends had his mom and dad constantly in and out of the hospital, his mom is in a wheelchair now and his dad is now addicted to pain killers. His uncle on his dads side was also an alcoholic who just died a few months ago from it.
Just be happy that he's still around and try to enjoy the time that you get to spend with him because it won't last forever.

my dad passed away last night.
i didn't hear about it until i woke to my sister crying.
i dont know what to do. i dont want to eat, i dont want to sleep, i dont want to go for a walk, the only thing that i dont not want to do is go on the computer.
i dont even want to go on the computer, its just something i dont not want to do (see the double negative there).
it may not seem like it but i'm very very sad right now.
