Holy crap, speaking of ancient! This one is pretty much a mummy :)
With these winter storms hitting the northwest, my joints are aching and my bones feel brittle. I hope I don't slip on some ice and break a hip.

You first!
I remember the 200 vote thing, and I guess I vaguely remember locking topics about it since there were SO MANY, but heh... anyway, hope me locking your topic there wasn't my first impression. #;-}>
I highly doubt it. reverend was quite young at the time.
Hello, I'm an NG Baby Boomer, and I'd like a place to retire to. All these little whippersnappers high and mighty on their e-penises, well back in MAH day we had to walk 5 miles barefoot in the snow both ways just to reply to one of Tom's post, where am I again?

No, all of us together. We're all going out suicide-cult-pact style, with poisoned kool-aid, damnit.

I meant I hope it wasn't his first impression of me (as a hard-ass mod, rather than as a normal poster). Not sure why him being young would mean that couldn't be the case. O_o

I learned then and there that the forum mods on NG are assholes. True to this day so it seems. :P

20 years old, a month and a half on NG at the time. I was just glad that list was gone since it too quite a bit of votes to finish it off, so I created a topic about 'it being done.' Of course gfox didn't see it that way, heh.

Yea you would think being on the light side of the force for so long before joining the dark side would allow for no assholishness... but no, you just have to be a complete jackass don't you reverend!
=P

Do mods ever see it the way the regular user does? I think not! =D
I discovered tonight that eating mashed potatoes with dentures is hard to do, I had to take them out and all the kiddies screamed and ran away.

Heh, when I first saw you modding anything on the forums, I immediately liked you because you dealt with someone who I reported for making shitty reviews right after he got off a ban.

My favorite was always the OWN3D pics. Especially the one of the special olympics kid getting chased by a subaru. I always loled when I saw it.

If you've been modded and aren't being enough of a hard-ass, they create topics making fun of you in the mod forums. It's harsh peer pressure, man.

Yes, well... it's like how 10 people make a thread on General about how the new Halloween banner sucks/is cool on the same dame, seemingly not seeing the other 9. #;-}>

Well of course, but only a few minutes earlier. We go in order of seniority. We run the risk that the youngest person in the Old Peoples Home is just trying to get rid of the rest of us and have the place to him or herself, but... eh, it's worth it.

Now THAT is old. That picture must go back to 2003 or even earlier. Funny to think in the real world that 2003 was quite recent but ancient on the internet. After all, that was time when we didn't have YouTube or Twitter.
Did I just enter some fucking mod club, or what?

We had BIG-BOYS.com though! Then they went and renamed it break.com. Not a big fan of the new name, but it's physically impossible to have a worse one than the original.

You know, I remember the days when Australians could play cricket. I'm not old, as it's much better now, since the English are winning!

I'm sure you are. I've still got a bit of energy inside me.
I'm not sure, my memory is not as it used to be, but after the new redesign, will I have gone through 3 in total?
Also fun fact, I was 9 years old when I signed up.

I remember the days when West Indians could play cricket. And when we could have an underscore in our name - before the Pinko's took over.

GET OFF MY LAWN.
in other news, when did they take floppy drives off of computers? I have a laptop that I used to browse NG back when I first joined, and it has all these swell old pictures from the era before the 07 redesign.... but the only way to move them is by floppy, and I haven't got any other computer with a floppy drive.
Maybe one day.

I miss m00d, and citric failed to make me the site he promised.

Well in less than a month I will be celebrating my fifth year on Newgrounds. Feels strange being here for that long.
