Hurry! Run! Go Fast!
Mastering is much more difficult than I thought. I've watched a number of vids on advice for mastering the right way in GarageBand, and I feel as if I'm severely lacking still! I've measured up a lot of "pro" songs on NG's Audio Portal with iTunes equalizer (presets), and they barely sound like they could be any more fuller than my tunes; but enough about my plight!
This is a tune of mine that I decided to remaster from its more "skeleton" sounding self. I'm not happy that the equalizer in GB isn't true 1:1 with the equalizer of iTunes in terms of certain frequencies and notches, but I try to make the most of it.
I'm about as underenergized as a sleepy Panda right now, so this is the final version I've decided to stick with, a half dozen remasterings later.
I remember growing up watching a lot of police chase shows, and listening to the fast paced music, I imagined a tune in my head for the longest, and decided to put together what I thought of in GB, that was the FUN part; sure it could be longer, but I think it's fine as it is now perfect to play alongside this pursuit video: http://www.youtube.com/wa tch?v=W0-E9qIycI8
Unfortunately, due to laziness and confusion, I didn't save my last remastering project, so it's 4 secs shy of what I originally had it at (sorry)!
