I struggled on where to put this song. It has a techno bass line, and a techno lead, but it has a classical structure, and a rock type of drum beat, but somehow maintains an 80's-ish feel to it... maybe it's the saxaphone.... It's logical to put this song into the New wave genre, as new wave has always been the experimental category, where genres are a little more liberal to bend, and I apologize to anyone that may get offended, and think that this song is in the wrong place.

That being said, this song is October Massacre. My failed attempt at making a song that would be worthy to be put on a collaborative CD of other great newground artists. The demo I released of this song was only 1 minute long, and if I was selected for the project, I was supposed to turn the demo into something that would appear on the Electronic EP CD. Although I didn't make the final cut, I still decided to finish this song.

To be honest, I really do listen to any criticism I get, both in real life from friends, and from all of my friends on newgrounds (I consider anyone who's ever commented on any of my songs my friends, so deal with it) And when completing this song, I tried my best to put many elements from the best parts of all of my songs together, to create something I hope you'll enjoy!

merlin

Fantastic

I like how there is a base melody in the beginning that then switches over, and the transition is great from it to another and back. There is a great balance, with no one tune overpowering the other, and the variety is fantastic. I don' think I have anything to offer for constructive criticism, its great!
I love it!

thanks for all your hard work! :3

Beautiful

I loved it. I absolutely loved it. You're talent for creating these pieces has not gone unnoticed. I thank you for allowing us less 'talented' folk (lol) to be able to listen to your work. Never Stop. Never Quit. Cause what you've done isn't it. You have plenty more to give in the ways of your talent and I think that you should continue.

Great song

You had a great song going on.. Why did you stop at 2:44???

4/5 you should really think about making an extended version. When the lead comes in, it is like the song is about to tell you "and now get ready to what I'm about to do" instead the song finishes soon after, that's too bad....

and now for some critique

- I don't think a sax fits quite well in here maybe try putting another instrument to do the saxophone part. How about a nice electric guitar? Yes, I think that would suit that melody part MUCH better.
-at 00:58 / 01:13 there's something wrong maybe you should check carefully what's happening because there's something "odd" going on between the bass and the melody, there's a little of confusion.

Overall, it was an exquisite song and I enjoyed listening it. Keep up the good work.
