I like this a lot! Its really awesome, I love the setting! I picture the guy on the left saying "That ship was my..ah..escape plan." Lol
Here's my submisssion for Jazza's CoTM january 2017.
I'm not completely satisfied with the approach to the general idea of the piece I took - had another completely different initial idea for the drawing, which would've been more appropriate for a visual storytelling piece, but I decided to scrap it because I rather wanted to draw an epic confontation at grandiose locale instead (I love spacescapes!).
It turned out pretty simple and straight forward but I like it.
Not sure if the "legendary axe" takes the spotlight here (as it should according to the challenge specifics), but I tried my best to stress it's importanse with all the cleaving and such.
I imagine the line of the guy on the left to be something like: "Lets be civil and not destroy an entire star system here, shall we?"
Or something melodramatic like "You don't have to do this, friend - it's not to late to stop!"
I leave that to the consideration of the viewer.
(yes, I know sound does not propagate through the vaccuum of space though, duh.)

Hey, That's pretty good! Love the shading and backround
Thanks for the compliment.
Cheers m8.
...let's just say I wish I had your talent. Goodluck with your entry.
Nah m8, there's a lot of submissions this month that look way better. Mine is nothing THAT special. You can do this too if you learn some basic drawing techinques and practice a bit. You'd be surprised but it really doesn't take much, aside from being motivated.
Cheers.
