My submissioin to Jazza's 2017 march CotM.

Dring my brainstorm process I discovered that Tolkien's Epic and Rowling's Fairy tale universes dont really seem to blend easily in a way that would not seem goofy and silly.
Maybe that was exactly Jazza's intention when he decided on a theme (the man does indulge in kooky hijinks on a regular basis for our amusement after all). Me personally - I find no enjoyment in drawing nonsensical things, so Instead of doodling up somekind of wacky mashup poster I decided to try and invent a plot that would somewhat make sense (at least it did in my head).
What I mean by that is that Voldemort would totally let himself get corrupted by the power of the One Ring and become a shining vessel of malice and destruction if he and his army of underlings were to apparate into Middlearth somehow.

I feel like there's something uncanny about the foreshortened hand. Thinking that I fumbled the gesture of it a bit (or a lot, lel)
I'm not that proficient with anatomy yet :s
