TLDR:needs better combat options/defense tutorials
had just figured out there was a second tab for the workbench and had just placed it when frogs started spawning, managed to make the wrong tools and not have enough stone to make a machete. couldn't use a pickaxe to defeat a frog that caused poison and when I respawned and all my tools and resources were gone I had 3 frogs stuck on my raft(i built wide to try and catch more early game wood).
Could be skill issue, but I don't want to waste time developing skills on this.
