Reviews for "A Breeze From Home (Aydin's Remix)"

The synth design here is really creative! Great work :D

Awesome dude!

This is not ABHF review. I hope the spam is reduced now. ;)

Dang, this is really good. The remix breathes new life into the original, and at the same time it keeps to that original. It's balanced, it's chill, it's new and beautiful. The higher pitched vox actually kinda give off some of many cat vibes that are in EBF5 (by many I mean many), and it just feels really good to hear. I really love this remix, and I know I'll come back to this many times, because it really hits that sweet spot. Congrats on the first place win on the ABFH remix contest :D

ABFH Judge Review/Comment:

A lot of reviews have covered off a few points and stolen my thunder, but I think I'm committed at this point.

The beat and vocals definitely felt more Future Bass-y than New Wave, but I also associate New Wave with more synth (versus rock New Wave). It is a bit in that weird grey area though, so I wouldn't worry about it.

I've had a time enjoying what everyone has done with the vocal stem in particular, and this was no exception. You took a lament, and made it more upbeat. That can be challenging, but it worked well.

The plucking from 1:10-1:23 seemed out of place, as it wasn't replicated in the same way elsewhere in the track although 1:24-35 kept the same tone in a bit of a scale. It gave it a bit of a zither quality.

Good work, and good luck in the contest!
