Thanks for the feedback. It does seem from this and other feedback that there are problems with how guns are currently implemented. I will definitely be adjusting it.
amazing game, still, am i the only one who found the last boss many times easier than a normal day of annihilating foxes?
also i love the fox news' mechanics
The game lets players somewhat cheese the later days, so if the boss was as hard as the final days, those players would suddenly hit a wall of difficulty. Also no progress is saved yet, so people of many skill ranges must be able to beat it in a single session. I could probably make the boss have adaptive difficulty in the future though.
OK so 1 problem I have is that when the big canon, the helicopters AND there enemies on screen its super hard to dodge the attacks.
Well it is supposed to be a challenging final boss. But I understand that sometimes the enemy spawns don't give you many options to move without failing. I might end up reworking the health/death system to alleviate some of these issues.
Very emotional, raw and heart-wrenching opening. I like that there is a property damage quota, and the various aspects of fox society being intertwined adds more to the game than just going around and shooting, giving it a neat strategy aspect. Overall, love it!
I love this, but it gets a little hard later on.
