Just updated the game it should be fixed now.
lost to the chick with the sniper, then got sent to the very beginning of the game when you first get out of the trash dumpster. lost all progress, didn't bother continuing.
otherwise, this new overhaul looks incredibly promising. that being said, it's lacking a ton of content from previous versions (the enemy quips during your "death" animation were a personal favorite of mine). maybe rebrand the title of the game to better reflect this? something as simple as adding "revamped" at the end of "con-quest" or some other similar change would better reflect the new version.
i was a huge fan of the writing of previous con-quest iterations. i really hope that this new overhaul doesn't affect that established tone too drastically. it already starts off a little more seriously compared to the previous storyline.
again, this looks really good. hoping for the best as more updates arrive.
