It's really good, but so different from the last version I played. Story-wise this is definitely better since you aren't some unexplained amorphous being with a dick, but I still really miss the old characters and their personalities and humor.

Ultimately, this is the thing that made almost 2 year wait worth it.

It's unfortunate that it needed to be re-worked, but this still looks fantastic. I'm also glad I get to see my favorite, Jolie, in the first public re-work iteration. She's nothing short of adorable.

The wait was worth it, this 'reboot' is a great work. Though the story had to begin anew I'm sure what you will give us will be spectacular. Will any of the old characters that are the stock enemies be coming back into the story in the future? Just a thought, when the game opens up into a full larger experience mayhaps add a feature to track whether or not you defeated the ultra rare enemy in an area, even if its just a tick. In case one cannot remember which they have already found.
