The game was okay but the story was great!

I enjoyed this once the issues were fixed. I too got trapped in a pit unable to jump out. Crouch-walking could be faster especially as there are tunnels with nothing else to worry about. Spike hit-boxes were very unforgiving, maybe unfair.

Be could to skip text (after coming back to the game I had to go through it all again.) Liked the ending, but the boss was no challenge. Would love to see a fleshed out sequel.

Enjoyed it. Would love to see a way to skip the dialogue.

VascoF responds:

It's now possible to skip the dialogue. Thanks.

I like the unique style of health bar. The transition from pure white to slimy green was a nice touch.

I have a few gripes about the spike hitboxes; they're kind of large. Large enough to kill the player even when the player isn't technically touching them. That's annoying.

Would have really liked the ability to speed up or skip dialogue.

VascoF responds:

The hitboxes are actually not as big as they seem (they're the size of the spike image), but when colliding from the side while jumping it gives the impression that they're bigger.

Anyway, they were definitely still too big, so I've made an update with the hitboxes smaller. Ability to skip dialogue will probably be added tomorrow. Thanks for the review.

Entertaining and atmospheric, but quite a bit of the difficulty felt cheap. Every time I died, it was from knockback sending me into a fatal combo after getting hit once, and every combat was either that or utterly hitless, even the final boss. Spice up the enemies, and add some invencibility frames.

Still, I did have my fun just playing through and vibing with the arcadey, alien invasion thing, plus really nice art, then the fact that it was all a quarantine joke hit me like a truck. This is cheesy as hell and I love it.
