Reviews for "ZS Dead Detective - Rats In A Hole"

I can only give this a 4.5 star because it didn't feel like a Zombie Detective game. It was so much fun as usual but the clues felt random and less thought out. Especially the one with the statues to find Lugroan. The correct solution also felt like it came entirely out of nowhere as awesome as it was. Altogether, still an amazing game!! It just didn't feel like the usual Zombie Detective.

Thank you for your review, and I can see why you think that way... however, I think the correct ending didn't come out of nowhere: there are some conversational hints here and there about the real culprit and Lugroan's fate..

AHH so much fun. Movement was a little sluggish though, especially between rooms, so, one star off for that, sadly. Loved that Chan, Marple, Poirot and Maigret were in there. Too bad Dalgliesh wasn't- but, knowing Dalgliesh, he wouldn't be caught dead there. ;) loved this man. loved it hard. for a minute I thought that Wooh (LOL) was Nero Wolfe, who I am not fond of.

Muja responds:

Sluggish..? How so..?
Unfortunately I have to point out that Wooh is, actually, based on Nero Wolfe. But really, apart from their names and appearances, each character is his own person - I didn't want to completely "copy" them.

Thank you for your very nice review!

Great game, as always. But like always, there were some bugs that made me lose the game even tho I figured out the correct solution: Once I either accidentally or just for the sake of trying out different solutions picked one answer, it did not let me change it in some cases. I mean, I do hope it is a bug! Has happened to me in other ZS games, too.

But I do love these games. Keep making more, and hopefully we'll see a longer game soon!

Muja responds:

Thank you for your nice review, and glad you liked the game.
As for the bug you're mentioning, that's weird... if you click on the central theory you can confirm it OR change your suspect, so you should always be able to change your solution whenever you want.
You're probably a little confused because the Deaduction System went through some little changes, click on the "help" red button if you need to check the updates!

Fun as always.

Thank you a lot!

rotfl "Poiroar" and "Ms Margle" good show ol' chum! It's the little things that matter! Love the whole series, look forward to your newest endeavors! Thank you for creating them!
