Reviews for "Harlot's Path"

Great game so far, but I'm lost. I'm over 30 days in game and I haven't fixed the house. I got as far as Anno but Lai wont let me in the house and have no idea who the "Trickster" is. If I want the last two scene do I just need to start over?

SlingBang responds:

Well... There are 5 different items you need to find to open up more parts of the map. All of them are direct results of completing Farm or House repair quests from the Farm Guard.

Permission Slip: Bought for $150 or $200 from Guard. Allows access to Guard Sex.
Axe: Cut down the dead tree behind Anno's. Allows access to Anno Sex.
------ You are here, it seems -------
Power Gloves: Second house repair quest. Allows access to Trickster Sex.
Bounce Boots: Fifth House Repair quest. Allows access to Lai Sex.
Balance Cap: Final House Repair quest. Allows access to Mayor Ending.

You might be able to just choose a previous savefile. You will need at least 7~9 days to finish all the quests however, so Day 20 or before would be best. You must go to the Farm and choose 'Talk to Guard' instead of choosing a normal farm job to activate House Repair jobs.

found a bug, with Gramps
with no other options selected removing the dress consumes all SP, (or at least 29) instead of the listed value.

SlingBang responds:

Thanks! I have fixed it now. It now correctly displays the amounts of SP required based on if you are already half-undressed or not.

Love the game! I can't figure out how to get past the mayors wife though!

SlingBang responds:

Yeah, I wondered if that might be too tricky... Here's some help:

You have to stay out of her 'line of sight' so keep that in mind when looking where to hide. Also, after she turns around 4 times, she will say she knows you're there and move directly towards you, so you need to have escaped by then.

If you want the answer keep reading:

First, move to the wall beside the piano. Wait until she starts walking again.
Second, move to the wall behind the apples. Wait until she starts walking again.
Third, move behind either green chair. Wait until she starts walking again.
Fourth, Run to the stairs!

So good to see how Slingy has evolved since the first Blue Bonnet-game (which got me hooked).

Best tutorial ever, explaining and describing everything, even with the save file description.

My one and only complaint would be that you didn't replace the Title music or the in-game song (it's the default one that every RPG-maker creator uses when they're lazy) with something else. :D

Looking forward to the next release Slingy! Always supporting Slingbang since i've been around from the beginning and watched as you evolved and progressed in game-making!

Keep up the good work!

SlingBang responds:

I actually LIKED that music, but you are right. Everyone is sick of that background music by now. I'll replace it with something else in a future update. I might even add in different music for the farm and houses. Originally, I was trying to get the file size down but at this point it is quite small so I can add in more music choices.

Oh yeah, Here's hoping you like the large bottom selections!

still playing just got stuck behind the fortune teller and now she won't move.

SlingBang responds:

Luckily. in this case, there are 2 options.
1: Wait... The fortune teller can move out of your way. Movement is just randomly decided.
2: Save and Restart game. You will start ON TOP of the fortune Teller and then just walk off.

Although, it is amusing how clever players keep finding new places to get stuck in! Just to be safe, I've locked her in place now. :P
