Loved it just like the previous incarnations. Shinys are a bitch, but that's understandable.
However I believe I may have found a small bug: when I was farming the garden, I found a shiny... but a rather odd one. Apparently, I seem to have skipped the original and fought the Echo of the shiny (I won't reveal the name so as to not spoil it); is this supposed to be a feature or was it really a bug as I feared? And if it is, does that mean that I pretty much lost a chance to get that shiny?
Not a bug that is just who the shiny in that room is.

I like the game. Even caught a shiny eva. Problem is when you beat the ditto Squirtle, the go icons disappear and you can only travel through shortcuts. Which means if you lose a match, you can't even do anything anymore. Other than that, pretty entertaining game.
