Got bored pretty soon. Too many things to read, which I didn't 'cause it's a game and I don't wish to bother myself to. And I don't have a clue then what I have to do, where I'm going and why. It's classified adult game and there doesn't seem to be anything which looks like it yet, except the big undead that grabs you (which is pretty disgusting and totally unsexy). And overall... AMERICAN KEYS!!! This is the mark I give for those who don't botter about AZERTY pads users. Like you could have chosen other sequences of key which are close enough on both pads.

The opening text tells you clearly what your objective is in just one screen :P
As far as the large amount of text though, in future versions of the game we'll have cutscenes that will establish storyline visually and audibly, as well as give the player freedom on how to interact with these cutscenes, and said choices will affect the game later on.
There are 14 sex animations in this demo alone; you'll need to be stunned for 4 of them, down to 0 HP for another 4, there are two cutscenes you can interact with that have another 2, and finally the boss has 4 animations unto himself as well. (The Berserker isn't undead by the way, he's just part demon, haha.)
We'll also have reconfigurable controls in future versions, but to be clear, this isn't USA controls, it's actually Japanese controls (using Z/X to jump/fire). USA controls usually have traditionally been Ctrl/Shift/Spacebar, etc.
EDIT: We just added reconfigurable keys!
Giving zero stars because of a fatal bug/flaw: In my default browser setup, Firefox 49.0.2 the game somehow messes up the formatting of the Newgrounds page so that no game is visible, and even the html rendering that should contain the game becomes overlapped with the left-hand advertisement (above Credits & Info), so even the title, tags, star-rating, and Facebook/Twitter buttons float overtop of the ad. I've seen one or two games before where this kind of thing has happened; never understood why. I went to WebGL page and see the spinning cube fine, so it's not that.
Trying game on Google Chrome, and it seems to show up fine. Usually I have no problems with Firefox on NG though (only the rare game seems to have this kind of catastrophic black-hole type of reaction). So, I have no idea what's causing it, but I bet it's some exotic setting or something that for some reason messes up with Newgrounds hosting/html/whatever and spazzes out my browser for some reason (I don't have many plugins or add ons, btw). I would have rated the game after playing on Chrome, but I think it's a serious enough bug that one zero-star review is worth it to draw attention to the severity of the bug.

I just tried running the game on FireFox 49.0.2 and was able to play through it fine; can you PM me with what OS you're on and what your browser resolution is?
Also had the artist/programmer and a few other people test it with no problems, so unfortunately we have no way to replicate this/don't know how to fix it, but knowing your OS and such as well as your resolution might help us figure out why this is happening.
:( Really sorry you're having this problem; if anyone else has this problem, please PM us and let us know what OS and window resolution you're running, maybe we can find some sort of common factor between them!
The forced tutorial at the start was incredibly annoying.
Let me play and figure it out myself. That is 90% of the fun of a game.

You can skip the opening tutorial by just saying "no" when she asks if you want to learn about the gameplay changes, so it's not forced; additionally, that tutorial won't be in the full game, and is only there to get people up to speed for this demo as a lot of things have changed.
In many cases though, people who skip the tutorial seem to be unaware of the C key for utility abilities, and even less often the A/S keys to switch those abilities, let alone how the powerups work with save pads, and other things that aren't inherently intuitive.
We also tried putting up pictures on the walls instead of text, but this didn't really solve much, and some things just can't be shown through pictures easily (like needing to not die to keep powerups and that you can only switch them on the save pad for game balance reasons).
That's why we have the tutorial, so that people who do want to be informed about this can, and if they don't want to, they can simply skip it. (It also serves as an introduction to the characters and the game world, too.)
In the full game, this stuff will have been learned over the course of the game, so tutorials like this won't be needed.
I keep freezing at the start when I think I am supposed to se dialog.

If you're having issues with the game freezing, try out the downloadable version; your browser might also be incompatible with the build (make sure to use Chrome or Firefox!)
There are randomly spawning black bars on just about anything that moves. This game is currently broken.
