Reviews for "Future Fragments - NEW Electric Level Demo"

This was more fun than I expected, so I'm quite excited for the final product. There are a couple things I would like to see altered. The most notable one is the control mechanics-I'll admit that I'm not the best with platformers, but I still feel like some of the projectiles hitting me especially during the boss fight felt unfair. The other problem is the alerted mechanics of the mobs; I read from previous posts that you plan on having them react to being attacked, but please also make it fair for players and not keep BS like grunts blitzing us from off screen like NFL linebackers.

Aside from gripes, I do have a two questions for clarification. The Seeber databanks are required to get the true ending, but is getting all of the fragments also needed to get the true ending or is simply required to progress past the current level? Also, will this game only be purchasable on a credit/debit card or is a visa gift card variant acceptable?

In conclusion, I found very little to complain about. Nearly the whole game has quality voice overs, the art is exceptional, and the gameplay and level design is proficient. The interactions are awesome and breathe life into the game, which is vital (most games of this genre have deadpan storylines and characters). I truly do look forward to the completion of the game judging from the overally quality from this demo.

Thanks for the review and rating!

The collision detection on the game is definitely something we'll be fine-tuning for fights like the Electric Boss, but you can use the Fire Dash to be temporarily invulnerable, which helps for dodging projectiles in situations like that.

The Grunts coming from off screen however is something we'll be keeping in because there are 1) audio cues for them charging you and 2) this is the third level in the game, so there is supposed to be some challenge to it as a result; you can always stop them in their tracks with a freeze shot :P

The Seeber databanks and the Fragments are both required to all be found to be able to get the true ending/final boss fight, yep! You can get to the "end" of the game though without finding any of them though.

The game will be on practically every adult game site out there, and if you pledge on Patreon (which takes PayPal and thus gift cards), you'll be able to get the game that way, too!

Really happy you enjoyed the story, art, gameplay, audio, and that you feel it's got actual life in it, because that's all of what we're going for :D

Was just looking for some fun fap material, but was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoy playing this as a game. The H-mechanics just seem to add to the gameplay, as much as any naughtiness. I may just have to spend some money for the whole thing!

hentaiwriter responds:

Glad to hear it; that's what we're aiming for, a game with adult content as an aspect of the game, instead of it being the core and sole focus.

We want to make a game that feels fun to play as a game with the adult content being a bonus, yet still intertwined into the game's storyline and gameplay, yet still enjoyable even if you don't engage in said adult content.

Same goes for the storyline too; we're trying to set the game up so that if you want to delve into the storyline, you can, or if you want to ignore it for the most part besides the core storyline, that's fine too!

So when we get reviews like this (and all the other kind reviews below) it lets us know we're going in the right direction :D Thanks again for the review and rating!

The music, man. The music in this game is legendary. Especially loved the chill version of the level theme when accessing the databases. Wonderful, wonderful job.

The voice acting is also fantastic. I loved it. A lot of hard effort was put into this and it can be seen. Thank you for your fantastic job in this game. You and your entire dev team.

The plot is also interesting. The terminals and their side stories help envision the world the characters are in.

I also have a thing for sci-fi in general so there's that.

hentaiwriter responds:

Fuyarinpa, our musician for all the games, is really amazing; you can hear lots more of the work he's done for the game over at https://clyp.it/u/hentaiwriter :)

Same goes for the voice actors, they're all going far and beyond the call of duty for this game and we really, really appreciate it.

Glad to hear you liked the writing and premise too; means I'm at least keeping up somewhat with the quality of the rest of the team :P thanks for the review and rating both!

loving it and it's in my steam wishlist. I wanted to let you know a bug I encountered early on in this demo. So, can't think of room name, but I think I got something that caused a softlock. From start, I went two screens left where there was an enemy. He hit me so that I was stunned, but hit me into the screen 1 from start. I was permanently stunned and had to refresh the page. Hope this can help sort out bugs.

hentaiwriter responds:

Yeah, that'll be fixed for the full game; thanks a lot for reporting it to us! Glad you enjoyed the demo too, really grateful that you wishlisted it also :D

im getting this once it comes out

hentaiwriter responds:

Thanks a lot! Much appreciated :D
