Reviews for "The Company of Copperhill"

Hm any balance in thath game ? only mages make dmg and well food its pointles with a thive you get unlimet

Being with you throughout this game and watching it grow in the 4 short days it was born it's really super impressive. =)
Played and beat it 3 separate times, the dialogue was dynamic and fun, the combat system was self explanatory and easy to use, and as usual the art was colorful and a pleasure to look at. You da bess! <3

PS- That soundtrack was the best soundtrack to anything ever. Whoever wrote it should get all the awards in the world. :P

I like this one much better tan the other oen you tried to do like this! It just is so much more streamline-y! ;) reminds me a tiny bit of... oh what was it.. Sga Frontier? no... Breaht of Fire? no.... oh I can't remember. OH, maybe I'm thinking of Saiyuki: Journey West...

Thanks! :D

It's interesting to read their chats at the beginning when they teased one another. As the battle went on, it seemed to me that they tried to find random stuff to say. Thus, I hadn't read every single word they uttered.

Game play is generic. Each character takes turn to act (hit the enemy or heal). At some point, I didn't know why there were so many battle points. It's good that the knocked out characters would resurrect. However, this made the game less challenging.

Graphics are fine. There're various types of enemies and backgrounds. Nevertheless, my attention was drawn to choosing an option due to the time constraint placed on each character. One either acted quickly or missed a turn.

Thanks for the feedback! It helps!

I love the lore you created. It is a great achievement to create whole living, "breathing" world.
Warren is my favourite character so I am happy to see him in another game. He was badass as a Witch Hunter, had this "mysterious stranger" vibe in KoL - the guy is basically Clint Eastwood in a wolfsuit.
The Company looks good, but i don't really like the gameplay - I think that more storyline-driven games give more justice to your style... But my personal preferences aside - given that you made it in 4 days - good work and nice kinda-sorta-demo for Wolfsong.

P.S.
The Music was awesome - the battle theme almost gave me goosebumps... probably because it reminds me of HoM&M games. Good job, LadyArsenic.

Hyptosis responds:

Very cool, thank you so much for the positive words of support! :D
