Reviews for "Perdition"

Loved the story, the graphics and the animation.
I had a crash too but could resume after reloading. The crash was at the end of the area where you're heading toward the right and the only gate I remember that looks like the underground walls instead of the brow rust coloured ones slid upward.
I did have one or two mild lockups before that that resolved themselves.
Apart from that my only problem is that the chance of the gun failing to fire even after charging seemed directly proportionate to the proximity of an enemy in front of you T_T
Apart from the bugs, 10 thumbs up :P Love to see what you do next.

It was a quite interesting game. Nice arts and graphics, climatic music and very good story. I didn't play in Gyossait, so I can't compare it with your production. When I was playing Perdition in some way it reminded me of The Planescape: Torment and movie The 9 directed by Shane Acker. Were these titles some kind of inspiration for your work? As for me your game has one week point. When I started to play in Perdition I hoped that the plot will be more "beyond good an evil". Maybe something like more than two sides of the conflict, more options to choose, but plus for multi ending. In summary, Perdition is climatic game and well designed. Keep up the good work! :)

Creepy atmosphere and nice level design. It's pretty good

Encountered a glitch where you can escape the final pit and return to the statue, but going back to the pit, the platform is now stuck, but to far down to jump out again.

Also, the animation gets a bit laggy in places.

Other wise this is a good metroidvainia style romp well worth a few replays to get all the story.

I seriously love the whole ambiance and aesthetic. I can't help but wonder how it would look with more detailed illustrations and animations, but that's not important. I must admit sometimes it gets stressful, and that's coming from somebody who has played it at least four times.
