Did you make this? I may just be having weird synapse responses in my brain but I swear to god I have played this game before. Was it perhaps inspired by another game? I don't want to accuse of you of plagiarism but really I would almost be willing to bet money I have played this game or something extremely similar before both in game play and story.

There's a game called Gyossait which is similar visually. There's also a game called Loved which is a little bit similar mechanically. I took inspiration from both however I've also taken plenty enough creative liberties to call this my own. It's my art, it's my story, and it's my coding.
Well, well. It really looks a lot like Gyossait, but then again, it isn't the same thing, as a lot of people claimed - I don't think so, at least. If you search for common themes, specially focusing on the most general aspects of a game, you'll find that no platformer is different from another.
Games, in my view, are all about the experience they offer the player, and although I think Perdition "feels" somewhat like Gyossait, I also think it generates a different overall experience. If for NOTHING else, I believe the true ending concludes with something that stands on it's own - the merit to decide without fear, but KNOWING fear. I believe that the text - the message, if you prefer - of this game stands on it's own.
Things to add on the next version:
- Motorcycle
- Tits
- Flammethrower.
Other than that, rock on, dude. I like you game sincerely, for what its worth. :D
This was a great game! I thoroughly enjoyed playing it. The art did well towards setting the mood and the story was well written. Artistically, it was great, although there were a few bugs, mostly having to do with the transition from one area to another. I got stuck on my first descent into the abyss, and although there was no menu button, a quick refresh of the page and I was able to load back into the game. Other than the transition bug and the game having no menu button once started, I give this game an overall 4.5 stars. Keep up the good work.
great but the begining is boring
It's a very fun game with a great atmosphere. The storyline was interesting and unique as well. The gameplay itself is fairly straight forward and simple, I did love the combat, especially the gun. It felt powerful to blast things with.
