Very good concept, but getting quite hard :D The music fits well. Good job!

LucidShadowDreamer responds:

Thanks a lot, Chris! I appreciate that you checked out this small project of mine! Yeah, I figured it might be quite hard :p I'm glad you liked the music too! :'D

Did u win stencyljam? Because if you didnt, im suing Tom. THIS IS AWESOME! ITS LIKIE SUPER MEAT BOY 2!

LucidShadowDreamer responds:

Wow, thanks a lot :'D!!!
I actually got fourth place, and believe me, the games above me and some below me were even more awesome!! If you liked the difficulty/similarity to Super Meatboy, you'll probably like Gravity Den, by Denver2003 even more!!! (http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/636002)

Thanks a lot for the positive review :3

Awesome game. I like the challenge of having the 'shadow' copy of yourself and having to find a way to overcome it through the level design. Music suits the game and the static-noise details on the characters, background, and way points also adds to that 'inner thoughts' theme with the game. I like it, good job!

LucidShadowDreamer responds:

Thanks, zerzix! I'm glad you liked my game, as well of all its elements! It also makes me happy to see that you like the music, and that you think it suits the game :)

What an incredible game. How did I miss it?
Everything goes with the concept: the sound (I especially love how neither the death sound effect nor the victory sound effect disturbs the music), the visuals (static is exactly how I would picture depression: no information anywhere, nothing making you happy or sad or angry anymore, just the same white noise everywhere), how some levels were frustrating and you had to be patient to finally figure out how to overcome them...
To the point. Congrats for your 4th place, by the way (5 and a half years later, but hey)
