Reviews for "Loot Hero"

Bit of an annoying bug/design that they respawn right on top of you when the screen swings to far in one direction leaving you behind. I have died a few times while farming on tougher lvls just because the screen went ahead of me. It could use more story and a bit more variety but other than thats its a nice way to waste time.

This is not a bad game, its just not one thats for me. Its essentially a platformer without platforming elements. Running in a straight line, with uneventful combat. The music, the graphics, the fact there are bosses, all of this is good stuff. The upgrades are OK, combat seems to trump everything else.

Would've been a five star if you could control the knight with the arrow or A/D keys... don't see why this isn't an option. Might not be enough for most people to nit pick, but the only thing the 'mouse only' controls serve is to advance my carpel tunnel even further.

The reason I did not include arrow keys is that you can actually control the speed by how far away the mouse is from the Hero. So it is a bit "analog". With arrow keys its only "on" or "off" :/

I really REALLY wanted to like this game.

The outlining components are fantastic, the music is fun, the graphic are great, the UI is well done and the game is very well explained, but sadly the core mechanic is absent.

This game, well, isn't really a game. I, the player, am not required to do anything, I don't need to show skill, I don't need to make decisions, I'm not required to any meaningful input. I just have to click forwards until I'm low on hp, grind, buy an upgrade and continue forwards and...that's it! There's nothing to spice things up, or make me stop and think. Therefore it is simply not enjoyable.

I think you got talent. You got everything it takes to make a great game, put some thought into your mechanics and look at the game from the players' perspective and ask yourself "What is required of me?".
