Reviews for "Pact"

The game left me with an anticlimatic feeling, I thought the devil would be an epic boss battle. However, the game became quite linear when amerwyn has enough strenght to one hit every single monster. One such strategy I came up with was: Amerwyn used wolf's fang, pretty much ending the battle in less than 1 second; If she didn't have enough mana, made her recover some by using blue incense / mana potion. If she needed to heal then she would use a healing item. Will became the healer / mana restorer trough incenses, and meadow would finish all the enemies by using spirit wave. In my opinion, these combination of skills (plus maxing mana and strength) broke the game. Not a single time someone reached 0 hp.

This game is the ultimost proof that an amazing presentation doesn't hold a crappy execution. I not going to talk about the art nor the music: They're amazing.

The engine is polished, the skills are there, but they are useless: Just max strength. You will one shot everything with basic attacking.

I got bored of walking around and fighting using one bottom after the cutscene where Meadow tell Will she was on the run from knights because they thought she had a pact with the demons. When I realized there was more of that annoying map system I just quited.

I feel the game is incomplete and the ending is just abysmal. A great opportunity that was missed here for what I feel like simply the author just gave up. Little things like only one character has a battle start animation while the other two are already ready to fight, only one backgound, NO BOSS FIGHT (I CAN'T get over this, especially when you meet him and he is some skinny pointy beard weak looking demon) and the game plays like the authors never actually play tested, makes me feel like at some point they just called quits and published it.
Blacksmith is completely pointless, actually mana and abilities are completely pointless because in reaching the end of the game you will gain enough xp (from the 1000 one-shot repeat battles) that you will one shot everything. There is not a single mob in this game you cannot oneshot with ~40 damage, which I did not even grind for, I tried to go as fast as possible to the end.

Throw in a boss at the end that has abilities over 500 hp and hits for at least 20-30 to make this game somewhat challenging. Fix blacksmith cost.

oh goddddd the monotony. bored after 20 minutes of 1hitting everything.
nice sounds, nice drawings. there is a storyline there, although fairly meh.
basing the price of upgrades on your stats is just silly.
but, for its flaws as an RPG, it is a roguelike, and plays as such.

good but the prices on weapons get stupid and it gets boring after an hour or less needs more omph if ya know what i'm talking about
