Reviews for "Slender Survival"

Well This wasn't that great of a game as there was no variety in it, you just walk back and forth until you die, if you could enter the houses it could be better, also the foreground seems to pop into view a bit, not sure why, i'm just walking and BAM, a tree suddenly appears in the foreground. i liked the graphics though, but the animations was kind off seeing his hand "release" the flashlight and "re-grab" it.

I was reading one of the comments and dangerdino said this game has nothing to do with the real lore. That maybe so but there really isn't a lore for the slenderman. I looked it up by lore, myth, creatures, and all that stuff and only found "games and photos" people made of him. I think he is just an idea someone made (before he was called slenderman) and other people just ripped off his idea, like with this game.

The game itself is 2D which isn't as great as the famous 3D version. There is only two ways to go but it is always best to keep going forwards, only going back if he is in front of you. The game isn't scary and there are too many notes which makes this a bit boring. Seeing the same background to collect 40 notes is a bit much. If you are a fan of slenderman, this game may not be for you.

Brunodev responds:

Yeah, as you said, if you don't like Slenderman, this game may not be for you. Thanks for the review

Bah!!!!

Brunodev responds:

Beh!!!!

This is like a good sketch, but it needs some more fleshing out. It really is a nuisance that the game would tell you to run when you have no way to do that. Also the stamina burns far too quickly for just walking. If slenderman is going to approach you, I would understand being damaged. As it is, he just appears and there's an arbitrary drain.

Flashing into different locations is neat, but since the pages are place at random, I don't feel like it matters if I'm ending up in different places. If the pages had set locations then I would start to panic that I wasn't in the right place to correct them, which would be a neat feature. I like the art and effects, but they're wrapping a somewhat dull game.

The idea is nice but the game overall is pretty dull. Ofcourse it's a parody of Slender but still it could be something more.
