Reviews for "Renga Samurai"

It was a very interresting game. Also with that it was a test for your character.
Though you need to give the last info about the penetrating power of the cut.
Needed to go to the walkthrough after a couple of tries, to make sure the pieces you needed to solve it. After that i figured how to get past the 5th test.
Though i don't wanna ruin it for those that wanna figure it out for themselfs.
Also plz put up somewhere how many stages there are. After the 17-18th stage i went to the walkth again to see how many there were, just to make sure there weren't about 40 or something.
I will surely play it again some time. Good job. :)

I like the idea, but you can use the space as a template to approximate cuts. Basically, you give us the solution. Not everyone can see that, but to those who do this game is very monotonous. It's almost like using an algorithm. Align, cut, solve, align, cut, solve, over and over. The music helps though.

I know about using the space as template to approximate cuts. But have you tried that way on the higher levels??? Will the later levels also become monotonous and less difficult that way? Hehehehe...

In fact, the first prototype of this game won't let you drag the brick to the right shape, so you could not use the method you said. But later on I decided to let the players do it cause if not the difficulty would increase more than 5-fold and there would be lots of trial and error.

Thanks for the review but still if you think you can just get through this game using align, cut, solve, I invite you to finish it without any help and obtain all medals.

This was a fun game, not just because it had Samurai in it but because it was a fun challenge. The levels weren't insanely difficult either, once I realized you could chop many pieces at the same time, and it's nice how the different levels can be solved in different ways. The concept is pretty cool, too, and the controls are easy, though sometimes the blocks don't want to go where you want them to, or keep getting 'dropped'. Anyway, nice game!

Thanks, Cyber

I think there's a glitch on level 19 or something. I got the bricks to fit but it still wouldn't let me progress. I can even send you a screenshot of it.

All in all though, good game. I'm not usually one for puzzle games but this one I kept playing. 4/5

:O I can't believe one of my song was used in a game :D I'm quite ecstatic about it and it raised my spirits a little bit so thanks guys :D

Now on the subject of the game, I honestly liked the idea, and had fun playing the game. It was quite enjoyable. The only thing I would have liked to see is an option to rotate the blocks around... but then again that would made it a fair bit too easy wouldn't it? -.-"

u r welcome!
