I like it, the 2-d does not dilute the slender man's scaryness.
Awesome game, even though it's just 2-D, it still give me chills whenever he pops up.

Experience: I figured I'd take a section of the review to share my experience/playthrough, since this and the original version are very reaction-based. Keep in mind, I didn't play the other version. My first time through this was pretty crappy. I didn't even get any notes, I just went to the left for a bit and then suddenly Slenderman appeared right in front of me and I died. My second time through, however, was a little bit better. I got 2/8 notes and then got really bored because the character was so slow and decided to just stand and wait for Slenderman to pop out at me.
Controls: Somewhat solid. Although having to use Shift to run was really annoying.
Art: It's okay. I would talk about how Slenderman looks, but honestly I can barely even see him because of that stupid static thingy that covers that entire screen. Seriously, was that really needed? When I watch Marble Hornets or TribeTwelve, I mainly watch it to SEE Slenderman, not to have complete static everywhere.
Overall, this is pretty good, although there are mistakes, and very noticeable ones at that. But still, not half bad.
