Reviews for "Snowdrift"

I also got the glitches Casaub0nRated mentioned, Sometimes when I walked to the right side of the screen to move screens, I walked through the side, and couldn't see my character. I was on the right of the treeline, eventually I guessed where I was and moved back to the left of where you move to the next screen, and it let me go to the right....walking to the left. Also, after dying 1 minute into day 2, (no water) I started a new game, and I was at the bottom right hand corner of an area, with one green tree next to me. I couldn't move, and my inventory was empty. The status bars also didn't show up.

Placeable responds:

Ouch, too bad. Sorry about that. I'll look into it, I might've broken something. Thanks for the review.

Really interesting game. I could see this being a bigger experience. It made me recall upon, heavily, the game for Gamecube, "Eternal Darkness". With is random events, and things playing on your psyche. For one, you gave me an emotional response to the game, which was great. I really felt unnerved by it. I had chills as the days wore on. So, good job on that. It's been a while since i've had any games do that for me. It would've been nice if the map was a bit bigger, and you could head out to the right of your home. There was a fairly big bug of the time system freezing - I have Flash Player updated as well. Overall, interesting experience - I look forward to your future games that are similar.

I am having the same problem as DavidCP, I can not answer my door, when I do I only get a time freeze, nothing moves (Hunger, etc.), darkness can not 'kill' me, and I am not able to access my inventory. I've been stuck with this since day 13, moving to day 18 by answering no constantly. I have a feeling I am not supposed to be having this happen. But regardless, it is a great game.

I liked the idea you had in this game. Darkness eating people etc. It's also good that game becomes harder and harder day by day. Only thing I didn't like was that there's not much to do in this game. Seriously. You're just... waiting or sleeping basicly. On the other hand it's also good thing that you kept this game simple.

Oh. And I loved the graphics! Just amazing work there! :) Little disappointed when there were no game musics at all though :/

This game had bugs, it was possible to moonwalk, once when I opened the door nothing happened, etc. There were also misspelled words in the dialogue.

I thought the jump scares were lame, and the resource management easy. It was also frustrating to be stranded in the dark at night and be completely unable to see where I was going, and be unable to refuel the lantern.

On the plus side I liked everything else, the ghosts, the blob, the visitor and the survival aspect. Also playing as an old man was interesting, instead of being some gallant youth.
