Reviews for "Running Warrior"

Hey, the same guy that made that Monster TD. This should be pretty goo...the hell? My attack range is horrible, meaning you need near-exact timing to kill anything. Of course, that could be just because I'm using the Priest. Let's go back to the class I had that could actually kill sli...what? I can't switch classes? That's just stupid. Well, what about items? Surely they make some semblance of sen...seriously? I can't just click to use them, I have to wait for them to activate? Does it at least define when they activate? Nope, not even. Seriously, this is really messy. I know you can do much better.

I really want to like it, it has a simple concept and goal. But being stuck with a class after dying coupled with the gracious range to change classes at statues and not being able to switch classes after death made it a bit annoying. Also, no checkpoints, the archer's primary attack using coins, and the hit-or-miss nature of certain jumps made it difficult to traverse and level up. Finally, why are there certain areas where you cant avoid taking damage because the enemies are apparently too powerful? For example in the first level there's this spot with a slime and a bat on two different heights and coins next to slime. If i try to avoid either I end up in the pit. If I take a hit as archer /knight there's a chance I won't make it to a merchant or a chest with a stamina restoring item. Again, I really want to like this game and complete it, but the many deaths and attempts caused me to give up I-don't-know-how-far into the second level.

at first the game started out to be pretty fun, but a few things irritated me from trying to finish the game.
1. no choice in keeping or throwing away the items if stacked higher than 3 and you cant even tell whats inside
2. at the very beginning i decided to jump and grab archer i died quickly after and realized i had to start with the archer with no choice.
3. i realized the archer needed its own set of skills... i spent all my cash upgrading the knight and i lost it all because well they are different classes -.- whats worst I never realized the archer arrows required money so i ended up slowly upgrading. (most of the same skills should have been a general use and also we need descriptions of class and ways to choose whether or not to be another class)
4. dashing was horrible especially when i was an archer... If I actually wanted to speed up or jump over stuff id have to shoot and waste 4 gold, whats worst is I cant tell when the dashing stops and how long it was to dash again
5. I don't believe I can attack in the air so skeletons where slapping me silly also it meant I had to time when to attack when the skeleton is rising or falling... wasnt accurate
6. there is almost no use in leveling up... seriously the stamina it takes for u to walk becomes a % rate which makes running which uses no stamina alot more better, yet it pisses me off to run half the time, im not even sure if im correct but i believe the only effect it does is make you take less dmg from the weaker creatures
graphics look good though, with a generic story to start it off, though changing classes makes it look like a different person all together. in the end i didnt feel like trying to beat the game

The concept is really neat, however, the game itself is very boring and slow-paced. The frame rate is embarrassing and the controls are awkward and slow to respond.

I didn't find that the game's concept was implemented well enough to make up for otherwise poor design decisions.

The hitting is so goddamn broken it's mind boggling. You hit a millisecond too early and you miss your target, a millisecond too late and you get hit. It takes waaaaaaay too long to get upgrades too. Could have been decent otherwise. The hitbox is completely broken too, you can barely collect or anything you want to unless you're right on it, but enemies can touch you from a mile away and it registers.
